Dale Boucher
77, CONIFER, COLO.

Dale Cameron Boucher, 77, born in Augusta, Kan., saddled up . for his final trail ride on May 16, 2012, at his beloved Pine Song Ranch in Conifer, Colo., with his immediate family by his side.
As per his wishes, Dale’s ashes will be released back to Mother Earth at his Pine Song Ranch in a private celebration.
Dale, a 1952 Augusta High School graduate, attended Tulsa University from 1952-1953 on a football scholarship and returned homesick to attend and play football at Butler Community College. Dale went on to the USAF Cadet Program, graduating from pilot training in 1957 as a Second Lieutenant.
In 1957, Dale married his sweetheart Ruth Arlene Cullop (El Dorado High School graduate 1956), and followed the Air National Guard to Denver in 1958.
Dale moved his family to Conifer in 1968 to be a part of the mountains he
loved so dearly. After 26 years of service Dale proudly retired from United Airlines as a DC10 Captain to attend to his ranch and true calling of raising livestock, snow removal, bailing hay and cutting firewood. Between the spring thaw and hay season, Dale enjoyed deep sea fishing on his boat “Minnowpause” in San Diego, hunting in the Flat Tops and Mt. Zirkel Wilderness, and more recently, traveling the Native American lands of the Southwest.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Dwight; brothers, Normand and Clifford.
He is survived by: his cherished wife of 55 years, Ruthie; sons, Derek and his wife, Janet of Loveland, Colo., Stuart and his wife, Janet of Bailey, Colo.; daughter, Corbi and her husband, Steve Sayler of Conifer; sisters, Glennis Allison and Glenna Roberts of Aurora, Colo.; brothers, Bob and his wife, Madlyn of Augusta, and Gilbert of Colorado Springs; sister-in-law, Glynda of Kingwood, Texas; brother-in-law, Norman Cullop of El Dorado; grandchildren, Kris Prochaska (Brian) of Loveland, Colo., Matt Strom (Brenda), of Loveland, Clint and Brady Boucher Sayler of Conifer; greatgrandchildren, Zachary, Blake, and Abby Strom, and Cooper Prochaska; his ever faithful Shih Tzu, “Hobbs.”

94, AUGUSTA

Theresa M. Asbell, 94, of Augusta, retired JC Penney sales clerk, passed away May 24, 2012 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice with family by her side.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Headley Funeral Chapel and graveside service 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Theresa was born in Rugby, North Dakota on April 13,1918, to the late Barbara (Duchscher) and Fred Steffler.
She was preceded in passing by seven brothers, Charlie, Johnnie, Fred, Martin, Edward, Jack and Donald Steffler; and one sister, Barbara.
Her survivors are: son Ronald Baxter and wife Shirley; three grandsons, Michael and wife Krista, David and wife Jynette, Terry and wife Laura; seven great grandchildren Gunner, Kizengton, Gavin, Dayton, Toby, Dylan and Maddie; brother, Robert Steffler and wife Alice; numerous nieces and nephews.
