Donald Dickinson
50, AUGUSTA

Donald P. "Donnie" Dickinson 50, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday,
May 22, 2012 at Dickinson home.
Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Donnie was born in El Dorado, on Oct. 31,1961 to Loydene ’’Deanie’ (Hubbart) and Darwin ’Buster’ Dickinson. He worked as a produce department employee at Dillons in Andover.
He is survived by: sister, Dena Goertz (John) of Wichita; nephews Garrett Cody of Augusta; Blake Cody and Braxton Goertz both of Wichita; great nephew Ayden Carothers Cody of Augusta; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and several beloved dogs that he loved as much as family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Dorothy and Kenneth Dickinson and Billie and Loyd L. Hubbart all of Augusta.

James McKinney
64, AUGUSTA

James W. ’Mac’ McKinney, 64, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at home.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, at Headley Funeral Chapel and service 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, at Augusta United Methodist Church. Graveside service 3 p.m. Friday at the Greenwood Cemetery Sedan, Kan. Mac was born in Cedar Vale, Kan. on Dec. 4,1947, to the late Lavonna (Myers) and Thomas E. McKinney. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1965 and from Wichita Business College in 1967. Mac worked for Beech Aircraft, Coleman and Enmar. He worked for Mobil Oil Refinery in Augusta from 1972 to 1983, Sinclair Oil in T\il-sa from 1984 to 1985 and again at Mobil Oil Gas and Exploration in Ulysses-Hugoton area from 1985 to 1999. Mac was a member of Augusta United Methodist Church Augusta. He was also an avid outdoors-man and enjoyed drag racing. On Jan. 27, 2006 at Newkirk, Okla, he married Sharon (Strong) Malan, who survives him.
He is also survived by: step son, Darren Malan and step daughter, Paula Nichols and husband Bruce, all of Augusta; step grandchildren, Chase, Sarrah, Jenna, Karra and Shanna Nichols; sister, Frances Whisman of Jenks, Okla.; aunt, Nora Mae Myers of Sedan; sister-in-law, Shirley Kirkpatrick of Augusta; and a brother-in-law, Larry Strong of Wichita.
