Frances Trapp
92, AUGUSTA

Frances Marie (Williams) Tapp, 92, of Augusta, passed * away Mon-day, Aug. 27, 2012.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, and service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Frances was born in Valley Falls, Kan. on Nov. 16, 1919, to Archie Williams and Irma (Madorin) Williams-Tucking. She married James Trapp on March 9,1939 in Topeka. In 1984, he preceded her in death. Also, preceding her were her parents; stepfather, Ed Tacking; son, Harold R. Trapp; her brothers, Harold R., Earl C., and Bert A. Williams, and a stepsister, Ruth Leu.
She is survived by: son, Bruce Trapp (Rose) of Newton, Iowa; daughter, Kathleen Tumage (David) of Waller, Texas; daughter-in-law, Robetta Trapp of North Newton, Kan.; grandchildren, Sa'ndor, Justin (Margaret), Josh, James (Hillary), Nathan, Matt (Samantha), Jason, Brandon, and Gretchen (Doug); nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, Augusta United Methodist Church, or the James Trapp Engineering Scholarship in care of the Wichita State University Foundation.

Beth Kreutzer
52, AUGUSTA

Beth Kreutzer, 52, loving wife and mother, lost her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.
Rosary will be at 7 Kreutzer p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita. Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, Church of the Magdalen, Wichita.
Survived by: husband, Timothy; sons, Scotty (Mindi) Landers, Cody Kiser, all of Augusta; sister, Karen (Jerry) Krehbiel of Newton; parents, Harold and Joyce Scott of Andover; grandchildren, Bra-cyn and Brendel Landers.
Memorials have been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67220; Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.

Joe Thomas "Tom" Zinn III
59, AUGUSTA

Joe Thomas "Tom" Zinn III, 59, left this world peacefully Sunday, Aug. 19,
2012.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at LakePoint, 901 Lake-Point, Augusta.
Tom was born in Oklahoma City on Sept. 8,1952 to the late Marilynn Rae (McCoy) Zinn and Joe Thomas Zinn Jr.
He graduated from Augusta High School in 1970 and attended Butler Community College. He joined the National Guard in 1972 and served six years.
He was married to Rhonda Ewalt on Aug. 8, 1972. He was a carpet layer for 15 years, worked in construction, and owned and operated Tom's Home Care for 20 years. He was also a carpenter and craftsman and took pride in building and restoring furniture.
He loved music and would often sing a line or two from a song that fit the activity at hand, always surprising someone.
He started racing remote control cars in the mid 80's. He continued racing for several years with a group of friends who formed the Acorn Racing Team, traveling in the Midwest area racing competitively.
Tom is survived by: his wife, Rhonda, of the home; his son, Pvt Joe Thomas Zinn IV of the United States Army, Ft. Stewart, Ga.; his father Joe (Marilyn) Zinn Jr., TUcson, Ariz.; sisters, Kar-ren (Mike) Zinn Herman, Ticson, AZ and Shannon Billingsley Land, Hol-drege, Neb.; brothers, Larry (Kathy) Zinn, Dallas, Texas, and Mark (Catherine) Zinn, Eagle Point, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Joe Zinn Memorial Fund, in care of Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
