71. AUGUSTA
Daniel L. Boone, 71, Augusta, retired Cessna Aircraft employee, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.
Viewing 1-6 p.m., with visitation 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Temple Baptist Church, 925 Douglas Rd., El Dorado. Interment to follow in Neal Cemetery, Neal, Kan.
Daniel was born on March 6, 1941, to Myron and MarDell (Williams) Boone in Neal, Kan. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1959 and attended Butler County Community College. He married Peggy Whiteside
on Sept. 2, I960, in Augusta.
Survivors include: his wife Peggy of the home; sons, Keith Boone (Avis Wagoner) of Wichita, Terry Boone of El Dorado, David (Tammy) Boone of Bradenton, Fla., and Corey (Angie) Boone of Cheney; daughter, Michele (Robert) McClaflin of Arkansas City; brother, Russell Boone of Augusta; sisters, Okema (Don) Fowler of El Dorado and Mona (Warren) Calvin of Cambridge, Kan.; 8 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials have been established with Temple Baptist Church or The American Cancer Society in care of Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory, Augusta.

Angel L. (Higgins) Evans, 42, of Wichita, passed away Friday,Sept. 7,
2012 from injuries in a four wheeler accident.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13,2012 at Woodland Lakes Community Church in Wichita.
Angel was bom in Wichita on May 28,1970, to Shirley (Tillotson) Larimer and Keith M. Higgins. She worked as an airplane instrument over-hauler at Nu-Tec. On May 30,2009 she married Robbie Evans in Haysville, and he survives her.
She is also survived by: son, Grady Meyer; daughter, Courtney Meyer, both of Wichita; mother, Shirley Larimer and husband Larry of Augusta; brothers, David Higgins and wife Jerilynn Webber of Stillwell, Okla., Jason Larimer and wife Debra of Blue Springs, Mo., and Shannon Higgins of Wichita; sister, Shelly Kelly of Stillwater, Okla.; grandson, Easton Meyer; grandmother, Mildred Lee of Augusta; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Sharon Evans of Haysville; and brother-in-law, Bryan Evans and wife Jodi of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Zachary Meyer.
