Robert Bence
83. AUGUSTA

Robert "Bob” Leslie Bence, >83, Augusta, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel.
Bob served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Edgar and Clara Etta (Beard) Bence; and a brother Edgar Bence.
He is survived by: his brother Mark Bence ol Augusta.
A memorial has been established with Amedisys Hospice, 2733 West Central, El Dorado, KS 67042 or in care of the funeral home.

Dee ‘Lucille’ Gray
95, AUGUSTA

Dee "Lucille" Gray, 95, Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Oct.
3, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct.8, at Dunsford Fuenral Home, Augusta. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at The Church of God of Prophecy, 1339 S. Douglas, El Dorado. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Lucille was born March 5, 1917, in Joplin, Mo. to Oscar Matthew and Ruby Esther (Hanley) Gray. Ruby graduated from Augusta High School and was a receptionist for Boeing and Beechcraft.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Irene Farris; brother, James Gray, Sr. and a nephew, James Gray, Jr. Survivors include: her nieces Ruby Bailey of Dorado; great niece Ruby Gibbs of Douglas Teresa (Joe) Redbum of] Dorado and Lorie Baile of Augusta. A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association, 347 South Laura, Wichita, Kansas 67211, or in care of the funeral home

Keith Barton Wilson 77,retired Boeing Company employee, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, Oct 2, 2012.
Private Services will held.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Helen Wilson.

Shirley Thomas
74, DOUGLASS

Shirley Ann Thomas, 74, loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, of Douglass, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday with family present 4-6 p.m. at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Douglass, 107 S. Maple, with interment to follow in Douglass Cemetery.
Shirley married Bus Thomas Jan. 29, 1956 in Whitewater. She worked alongside Bus in several different grocery stores in Wichita and the Butler County area for many years before retiring.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Velma Erwin; husband, Bus Thomas; brothers, Charles and Leroy Erwin; daughter-in-law, Liz Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Thomas of Dodge City, Chris (Rachel) Thomas of El Dorado, Kathleen Koepcke of Douglass and Cindy Abdallah of Wichita; grandchildren, Angela (Josh) Smith, Kara (Sami) Nabbout, Emily Abdallah, Adam Thomas, Renea Abdallah and Alex Abdallah; great-grandchildren, Kolten McConnell, Addyson Smith, Kinzleigh Smith and Jacob Orr; four stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat great-grandaughter; sisters^Su-san (Ralph) Ballinger, Bonnie (Rick) Rhodes, and Darlene (Rod) Wal-ford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the church or Heartland Hospice 3210 W. Kellogg Dr, Wichita, KS 67213.
