Carl M. Towne
75, AUGUSTA

Carl M. Towne, 75, passed away March 13, 2013.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at
Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 5701 E. Mt. Vernon, Wichita.
He was born April 13, 1937 to Earl and Bertha (McCrary) Towne in Net-tleton, Mo. Carl retired as an electrical contractor, and was a member of the IBEW for over 50 years. He was an instructor in the WJATC Electrical Apprenticeship Program for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Melissa Schild. Carl is survived by: his wife of 56 years, Charlene; children, Greg (Vicki) Towne, Tim (Ruth) Towne, Daryl Towne, and Melinda (Eric) Craft; 11 grandchildren; 2 greatgrandchildren; and a large extended family.

Paul “Larry” Hasting, 63, El Dorado, passed away Wednesday,March 13,
2013.
Visitation with family will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church, El Dorado.
Larry was born on July 19, 1949, Chanute, Kan. He retired from Mel Ham-belton Ford as a service writer.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Wanda “June” (Paul) Hasting; brother Gaylord; and sisters Tina, Wanda “Lynn” and Kathy.
Larry is survived by: his wife, Karen; children, Paula (Jim) Schroeder, Warren-ton, Mo., Paul Hasting, Beaumont, Texas, Kathryn (Jeffrey) Voyles, El Dorado, Jennafer (Dion) Sevart, Peabody, Kan., Jasen (Erica) Gaines, El Dorado, and Joseph Hasting, El Dorado; brothers, Mike (Ann) Hasting, Harold “Ray” (Connie) Hasting; sister, Laura (Danny) Mohler; grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Floyd J. Wedel
78, AUGUSTA

Floyd J. Wedel, 78, retired Cessna superintendent of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in Wichita.
There will be no service and burial will be at Emmanuel Bible Church Cemetery, rural Galva.
Floyd was born in Hutchinson, on Nov.27, 1934, to the late Emma (Snider) and Rudy P. Wedel.
