Roy L. Lighty, 88, Augusta, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013.
Viewing 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, and service 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Hope Community Church, Andover. Burial will follow in Kechi Cemetery.
Roy was born in Grant County, Kan. on Jan. 11, 1925, to the late Fanny Marie (Alexander) and Roily John Lighty. He graduated from Anderson University with a Masters in Divinity and was ordained in 1954 as a minister in the Church of God-Anderson, Ind. Roy pastored at churches in Eureka, Norton, Hugoton, Murrysville, Pa., Craig and Fillmore, Mo., and Anthony. He also was a chaplain for Valley Hope Alcohol and Treatment Center in Norton. On Sept.l, 1951 in Arnold, Pa., he married Patsy (Collingwood) Lighty, who survives him.
He is also survived by: daughter, Roanne L.Gale and husband Mark of Andover; son, R. Greg Lighty and wife Deena of Augusta; brothers, Kenneth of Anderson, Ind., and Clyde of Ulysses; sisters, Esther Cantley of Anderson, Ind., Roberta Faubion of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ruby . McKinley of Colorado Springs, Colo., Verda Lewis, of Park City,
Utah; grandchildren. Andrew Gale (Autumn) of Indianapolis, Ind., Marli Gale of Andover,; Maci Gale of Andover, Charles Lighty of Augusta
great-grandchild, Eleanor Gale of Indianapolis, Ind.
He was preceded in death by brother, Howard, and grandson, Mical Aaron Gale.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Hope Community Church.

George H. Naugle, 91, of Augusta and formerly of rural Latham, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013.
Visitation 3-5 p.m. Thursday and service 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Glencoe (Little Walnut) Cemetery, rural Beaumont.
George was born in rural Hickory Township (near Beaumont and Latham) on Aug. 9,1921, to the late Blanche (Bellew) and George Naugle. He lived his entire life in that area farming, running a dairy, and raising beef cattle.
He is survived by: wife, Glenna Naugle; daughter, Karen Naugle Iseman; son, Marvin Naugle; son-in-law, Jim Huston of Wichita; brothers, Darrel Bellew and Glen Bellew; grandchildren, Susanne, Leann, Jennifer, Nicole, Matthew, Brittany, Charles and Stephanie; 10 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by wives, Ruby (Young) and Ruth Anne (Young); a daughter, Kathryn Huston; and a brother, Wilbur Bellew.
Memorial donations to Alzheimers Association.
