93, AUGUSTA
Mary Margaret Darnell, 93, homemaker of El Dorado and Augusta area, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013.
Rosary 7 p m. Friday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta.
Mary was born in Mt. Vernon, Kan. on Dec. 25, 1919, to the late Emma (Hermes) and Joseph Nicholas Smarsh. On Oct. 3,1942 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wichita she married Maurice Darnell, who survives her.
She is also survived by: sons, Greg Darnell and y wife Joyce of Ed-wardsville; and Steve Darnell and wife Connie of El Dorado; daughter, Jean Thompson and husband Dennis of Leon; grandchildren, Chris (Kimberly) Darnell, David (Jennifer) Darnell, Angie Clevenger (Brad) and Brandie (Chad)Leep; greatgrandchildren Gregory . Michael Darnell, Conner ' Darnell, Brooks Clevenger, Sydney Leep,
Hal Leep, Ava Grace | Darnell and Brianna Darnell.
She was preceded in death by her four broth-_ ers and four sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. James Catholic Church Building Fund or the donor’s choice.

Wauna Naoma Fuller,
78, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
Visitation Friday 4-6 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel and Fuller service 2
p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at the Benton Cemetery, Benton, Kan.
Wauna was born in Benton, on May 12, 1935, to the late Wilda (Wintermote) and Roy Clifford Whitson. She retired as a proof operator after 40 years from Prairie State Bank.
On June 19,1953 at Benton, she married Fred Fuller and he survives her.
She is also survived by: son, Mike Fuller and wife Kay of Augusta; daughters, Kathy Parrish and husband Ben of Augusta and Linda Marley and husband Jeff of Ferndale, Wash.; brothers, Troy Whitson of Plano, Texas, and Milton Whitson and wife Connie of Moberly, Mo.; grandchildren, Jason Marley (Constance), Sarah Ward, Kristine Dillon (Shane), Isaiah Johnson, Natalie Hartman (Kyle), Mason and Morgan Fuller and Seth Dennett (Caryn); great-grandchildren, Jude Dillon, Kyle and Jaxon Marley, Noah Cooper Ward, and Gryffyn Hartman.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Little and brothers, Ivan and Carol Whitson.
Memorial donations to First Baptist Church or Amedysis Hospice.
