Doris Shryock
86, AUGUSTA

Doris F. Shryock, 86, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, July 31,2013.
Visitation with family present 6-8 j p.m. Friday; service 10a.rn.Sat-, Shryock urday, Aug. 3, 2013, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood t Cemetery, Augusta.
Doris was born in Augusta, on Oct.26,1926, to the late Osa M. (Johnson) and Ernest V. Gardner. On Nov. 28,1946 she married Gerald Shryock in Wichita. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by: daughter, Kay Shryock; son, Steve Shryock and wife Judy; daughter, Debbie Skidmore and husband Danny, all of Augusta; son, Marty Shryock of Morris, ILL.; sisters, Helen Spivey and husband Max of Wichita, Innes Wike of Augusta, Bernice Carriger and husband Rick of Fort Scott, Kan.; sister-in-laws, Norma Shryock of Augusta and Connie Shryock of Gresham, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Tracy Faulconer
60, AUGUSTA

Tracy Lee Faulconer, 60, of Augusta, passed away in his home on Sunday,
July 28, 2013.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1; memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta. A private family interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dederick, Mo.
He was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Wichita to John Otis and Wanda Louise (Ogle) Faulconer. He grew up in Rose Hill and later moved to Wichita, where he graduated from North High School. Tracy worked for Boeing as an electrician and in his spare time loved going to the lake, fishing, camping, motorcycles and living life to its fullest.
His survivors include: his sons and their wives, Toby (Robin) Faulconer of Augusta, Billy (Lindsey) Faulconer of Arlington, Tenn., and Michael (Amanda) Faulconer of El Dorado; step brother, Joe Cutcliff of Wichita; four grandchildren.
Tracy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Faulcon-

Vesta Wicke
74, North Newton

Vesta M. Wicke, 74, of North Newton, Kan., formerly of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
Visitation will be Wicke 4-6 p.m. Sunday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta; service 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, Augusta. Graveside service at 3 p.m. Monday at Byard Cemetery in Deer Creek, Okla. Vesta was born in Blackwell, Okla, on May 10,1939, to the late Freeda (Luckert) and Paul E Wicke. She worked as a home eco-
nomics teacher for Augusta Middle and High School. Vesta was responsible for starting ladies competitive sports at Bethel College and volleyball at Augusta Jr./Sr. High.
She is survived by: brother, Glenn Wicke and wife Sandra of Deer Creek, Okla.; sister, Elsie Flaming of North Newton, Kan.; nephews, Kevan and Garth Flaming, and niece, Susan Wicke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wicke-Flaming Scholarship Fund at the First United Methodist Church of Augusta, or Wicke-Flaming Scholarship Fund at Bethel College in North Newton, KS.






Eric K. Johnson
66. WICHITA

Eric Ken Johnson, 66, retired from the United States Army, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in Wichita.
A memorial service with military rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta.
Eric was born Aug. 5, 1946, to Harley Kenneth and Fern Valeda (Sale) Johnson in Fairbanks, Alaska. Eric enjoyed horses, cowboy rodeos, fishing and golf.
He is survived by his cousin and her husband, Marsha and Richard Cooper of Hutchinson; family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harley Kenneth and Fern Valeda Johnson.
A memorial has been established with the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 16261, Wichita, KS 67216, or in care of the funeral home.
