Edith M. Malcom, 79
Edith Martha (Bauer) Malcom, 79, homemaker, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 19,2014.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta.
Edith was born Feb. 28, 1934, to Fred John Lewis and Florence LeDonna (Bayes) Bauer in Stella, Neb. She married Charles Loyal Malcom on May 27,1950, in Jericho Springs, Mo. Edith was also a painter at Beechcraft and enjoyed quilting, baking and cooking.
Her survivors include: her son, Elvie Malcom of Augusta daughters, Pam Brock and her husband William of Douglass, Mary Keefer of Rose Hill, Martha Brooks and her husband Ed of El Dorado; sister, Leona Feeney of Frankfort, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; son, Charles Malcom; two sisters and two brothers; and a grandson, R Dylan Moss.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Hope Musicworks at Hope Community Church, in care of the funeral home.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Augusta Senior Center for Gisela Pierce, who passed away on Feb. 14,2014.

Sondra K. "Soni" Parmele, 65, Douglass, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.
Viewing 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, and service 1 p.m. Monday,
March 3, 2014, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Sondra was born in Wichita on Sept. 8,1948, to the late Dorothy Westina (Platter) and James R. Fields. She was a homemaker. On May 29,1974 in Wichita she married Robert Parmele, who survives her.
She is also survived by: daughters, Keri Parmele of Douglass and Karla Hilton and husband Lance of Augusta; brothers, Michael Fields and Robert Fields, both of Wichita; sister, Diane Powell of Killeen, Texas; half brother, Perry Fields of Covington, Ky.; half sisters, Marilyn Snedagar and Penny Knock, both of Kentucky; grandchildren Tiffany, Kameron, and Kassie.
Memorial donations to Cancer Center of Kansas.
