Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Lewis, 77

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Lewis, 77, Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.
Viewing 5-7 p m. Friday, Feb. 28, and service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1,
2014, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Kenneth was born in Augusta on Sept. 17,1936, to the late Ella Valleda (Cowles) and Daniel Lewis, Sr. He served in the Naitonal Guard for 9 years from 1954-1963. Kenny was a machinist working at Didde-Glaser in Emporia, Boeing and was self employed. On July 15,1956 at Grand Island, Neb. he married Peggy McFeely, who survives him.
He is also survived by: son, Darrin Lewis of Augusta; brother, Terry Lewis of Wichita; sister, Kathleen Jackson of Valley Center; grandchildren, Brandon and Briana Lewis; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sons, Brett Daniel Lewis and Kevin Wythe Lewis; brothers, Danny Lewis and Charles Lewis.

Neuell G. Nicolet, 91

Neuell G. Nicolet, 91, retired farmer, formerly of Great Bend, passed away Thursday, Feb.27, 2014 in Augusta.
He was a long time member of Central Baptist Church, 3301 Lakin Ave, Great Bend, Kan., where services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday,
March 5, 2014. A visitation will be held one hour prior to sendee. B irial will follow the service at Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend.
Neuell was born in Great Bend, on Oct. 2,1922. He was the son of the late Ed and Inez (Gaunt) Nicolet. He graduated from Great Bend High School in 1941.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary W. "Jean" (Dirks) Nicolet; son, Kenneth; and three brothers, El-dean, Mickey and Bill.
Survivors include: wife, Elnora (Dellenbaugh) Seba Nicolet; daughter, Connie (Jim) Dandy; daughter-in-law, Celia Nicolet; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and 3 great-grandsons; stepsons, Jim, Kenneth and Leroy Seba; and a stepdaughter, Barbara Hodge.
