Sarah G. Regier, 91

Sarah Gladys (Boehr) Regier, 91, of North Newton, Kan., went home to heaven Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in Wichita.
Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Headley Funeral Chapel,
Augusta. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Koern-er Heights Church, Newton, and 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at New Life Fellowship in Grant, Neb. Burial will follow at Madrid Cemetery, Madrid, Neb.
Sarah was born in Henderson, Neb. on July 8,1923, to the late Sarah (Mierau) and Bernhard Boehr. She worked as a registered nurse for 25 years as well as being a farm wife. Sarah enjoyed music, traveling, scrapbooking, and especially her family. She volunteered for Men-nonite Disaster Service, Mennonite Central Committee and was active in her local church. On April 10,1950 she married Herman L. Regier in Henderson, Neb. He preceded her in death on July 30,2006.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer, Donald, Melvin and Ben Boehr.
Sarah is survived by: her children, Leon and Marilyn Regier of Grant, Neb., Marilyn and Craig King of Rogers, Ark., Dale and Teresa Regier of Abbotsford, B.C. Canada, Larry and Kristi Regier of Buckner, Mo., and Karen and Terry Deaver of Augusta; sister, Rachel Hieb-ner of Henderson, Neb.; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Dennis Brewster, 54

Dennis Brewster, 54, passed away on Tuesday, July 22,2014, in Andover at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
Military memorial services will held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta. Following the memorial service a reception will be held until noon.
Dennis Keith Brewster was born Feb. 12, I960, to Glen and Geraldine (Allen) Turk in Indianapolis, Ind. He graduated in 1977 from Martinsville, Ind. High School. Dennis served his country in the United States Air Force.
He was united in marriage to Mary Van Court on Feb. 1,
1985 in Long Beach, Miss.
He worked as a flight mechanic at the Augusta Airport and was partner at JD Aviation.
His survivors include: his wife, Mary Brewster of Augusta; his sisters, Cindy Shanle and husband Brian of Huron, Ohio, Beth Johnson and husband Carl of St. Cloud, Fla., and Meichelle Ollis and husband Donald of Erwin, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman Allen.
Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society in care of Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory, 201 E. Fifth, Augusta, KS 67010.

Marjorie McKinney, 79

Marjorie Yvonne McKinney passed away July 23,2014 at Augusta. She was born Dec. 2,1934 at the rural Langdon, Kan., home of her parents, Phillip A. and Bessie (Holmes) Mauck. She attended elementary and high school at Langdon where she graduated in 1952.
Maijorie arrived in El Dorado to attend nursing school in 1953. She lived there until she moved to Augusta after the death of her husband Robert McKinney whom she married in 1971. Bob McKinney passed away in 2007 at El Dorado.
Survivors include her daughter Sara Yvonne Kenney; grandson Mark Kenney; Mark’s children, Matthew, Ashton and McKenzie; and stepsons Rex McKinney and Robert Lee McKinney Jr; five siblings: Phyllis Mae Mauck of Hugo, Colo.; Kenneth Mauck and Henry Mauck of Limon, Colo., Melba Treaster of Ft. Collins, Co and Elaine Applegate of Hutchinson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Kirby Morris Funeral Home with burial at Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery after service. A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbymorrisfiineralhome.com
