John D. Randolph, 60

John D. Randolph, 60, passed away in Madison, North Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m., with familly present from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26,
2014, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, using the 12th street entrance.
John was born Nov. 19,1953, to Leon and Jean (Goodpasture) Randolph in Enid, Okla. He graduated from Baylor University in 1984 with a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics. Later, in 1986 he graduated with a second Doctorate in Theology from Fuller University. John held a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, where he also studied Early Christian Religion and Meteorology. He was an ordained reverend and minister who enjoyed sharing the love of God and teaching about Jesus to anyone unaware.
He pastored several churches during his life - including several native American Churches in Oklahoma. He was also a professor at Texas Christian university in Dallas and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. John loved Jesus and sharing the word of God- his favorite lifetime song was “Amazing Grace.”
John was united in marriage to his wife Katusha, whom he loved dearly, on Feb. 141973 in Benton, Kan. He served in the Air National Guard, worked on many top secret projects for the military, and test flew F-16's. Presently John was working for Honda Jet Aircraft Company helping a
to design the new Honda jet, but also held positions at General Dynamics, Cessna, Raytheon, and Boeing during his lifetime.
John had many hobbies but his ultimate favorite things to do were fishing and gardening. He was also a professional storm chaser for over 20 years and filmed hundreds of tornados across the Midwest.
John loved OU Football and held interests in politics.
Surviving to honor his memory: his wife of 41 years, Katusha Randolph of Madison, NC; son, Ralph Randolph of Cheyenne, Wyo.; daughter, Katrina Blasi of Madison, NC; grandson, Joseph Cheek of Madison, NC; parents, Leon and Jean Randolph of Augusta; siblings, Mike and wife Dana Randolph of Towanda, Carolyn and husband Brian Wright of Shawnee, Randy and wife Velvet Randolph of Raymore, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Levi Randolph, Grace Randolph, Gil Randolph, Luke Randolph, Dustin Randolph, Stacey Randolph, Christy Dreiling, Crystal Dippre, Carolyn Hollaway.

Daniel Sproul 65

Daniel Sproul, 65, of Augusta, truck driver and contractor, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 in Andover.
Memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Daniel was born in Wichita, on Jan. 21,1949, to the late Mable and Ernest Bradley.
Dan was raised by his aunt and uncle Earl and Glorene Bradley. On June 16,1989 he married Deborah (Hartness) Sproul of the home, who survives him.
He is also survived by: his daughter, Jamie Danielle Sproul; and step children, Natalie Watson, Angela Mills, and David Warren; siblings, Pat Rierson, Larry Bradley, Truman Bradley and Ruth Basquez; grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Joshua, Mike, Justin, Emma, Abby, and Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Belle, Peyton, Daylon, Ember and Cooper.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Clifford and Michael Sproul, and sisters, Shirley Belford and Kathy Sproul.
Memorials can be made to American Heart Association.
