Virgil was bom in Argoma on Apnl 21 1933, to the late Wilma (Gile) and Oliver Flinn. He worked as an operator and welder at Vickers Refinery and NCRA. On Feb. 21,1953 he married Ruby (Seymour) in ElDorado, who survives him.
He is also survived by: son, Rod Flinn; sisters, Margie Spangler,
Oleta McGee,Donna Holt and Carrie Hancock; grandchildren, Casey Flinn (Megan), Janie Flinn; great grandchildren, Tre, Taryn, and Adrienne Flinn.
He was preceded in death by: son, Gary Flinn; brothers, Bob Flinn and Bill Flinn; sisters, Gwen Kessey, Pat Blackstone, Jo Anne Pierce, and Iris "Detsie” Wally.
Memorial donations to American Diabetes Association or Veterans Administration.

Mary Elizabeth (Standfast) Walker, 80, of Augusta, passed away Friday, Oct. 17,2014 in Wichita, Viewing Tuesday 3-5 pm at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Rosary 7 pm Tuesday and Funeral Mass 10 am Wednesday, October 22, 2014, both at St.James Catholic Church, Augusta. Graveside services 4 pm Wednesday St. Francis Cemetery, St. Paul, Kansas.
Mary was born in St Paul, Kansas on February 27,1934, to the late Marie (Siemer) and Joseph J. Standfast. She worked as a Licensed Mental Health Technician and retired as a upholsterer from Beech after
20 years. On May 18,1952 she married Cecil E. Walker in St Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death. She is survived by: son, Cedi E. Walker, Jr.; daughter, Mary B. Walker both of El Dorado; son, Jerry Walker (Sue) of Yukon, Okla.; and daughter, Leanna M. Davidson (Patrick) of Andover; a sister, Rosalia Macher of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Lorinda Walker, Kristin Edson (Randy), Ashley Ja-yarathne (Madhuka) and Emily Glass all ofWichita; 10 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Standfast of Port Orange, Fla., and Audrey Standfast of Chanute; brother-in-law, Jim O’Hanlon of Silex, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Travis Lee Roadenbaugh; brothers, Joseph, Paul and Johnny Standfast; and sisters, Anna Wirthlin and Clara O'Hanlon. Memorial donations to St. James Catholic Church Building Fund 1012 Belmont Avenue Augusta, KS 67010.
