Debra A. Shriver, 51

Debra Annette Shriver, 51, of Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m., at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11,2014, Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
She was born Oct. 9, 1963 in Cortez, Colo., the daughter of William K. and Evelyn (Wiese) Shriver.
She is survived by: two daughters, Taylor Marie Gaston and Aubrey Lynne Gaston, both of Augusta; a brother, Kevin R. Shriver of Leon; a sister, Krista (Sam) Miller of Anchorage, Alaska; 5 nieces, Chelsea, and Katy Shriver of Springdale, Ark.,, Rachel, Megan and Riley Miller of Anchorage, Alaska; one nephew, Keegan Shriver of Leon.
Debra was preceeded in death by William David, Rebecca Jan and Marci
Leanne.
Debra graduated from high school in Bartlesville, Okla, and Oklahoma State University with a degree in marketing and was currently a Lead Marketing Analyst at Value Place in Wichita. Debra was baptized into the Christian faith Nov. 24,1963 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cortez. She was later confirmed at Holy Cross Lutheran Church May 14,1978 in Dallas, Texas. Debra was married to Todd Alan Gaston on June 3,1989. She was active in her faith and her church. Debra had a great love for the Lord and for her family; she was a loving mother, daughter and a kind and loving friend to many. She will be sorely missed.

Mary L. Martin, 78

Mary Louise Martin, 78, of Augusta, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6,2014 in El Dorado.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and service 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11,2014 all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta.
Mary was born in Rogers, Arkansas on March 16, 1936, to the late Opal (Garner) and Virgil Arnold.
She was a homemaker and entrepreneur.
On Feb. 17, 1951 she married Harold Martin in Bentonville, Ark. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her brothers, RD and Albert Arnold.
She is survived by: sons, Gene Martin of Augusta, Harold Martin ofWillberton, Okla., and Mike Martin and wife Jyneen of Augusta; 9 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren.

Sandra Seward, 75

Sandra Sue (Criss) Seward, 75, formerly of Augusta, passed away Nov. 4, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday,
Nov. 16 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in El Dorado.
Sandra was born March 6, 1939 in Topeka, the daughter RD and Edith (Catlin) Criss. She graduated from Augusta High School with the class of 1957. She earned an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Kansas, two master’s degree one in music special education from Wichita State University the other in learning disabilities from Emporia State University and a doctorate in adult education from Kansas State University. Her education provided the foundation for her 20-year teaching career which spanned every grade level -early childhood through college.
Sandra loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, playing the piano, writing poetry, attending the symphony and music theater. She participated in the Trinity Episcopal Church’s bible study and prayer groups. Sandra’s life was a life of service allowing God’s light to shine in her and through her.
Sandra is survived by her son, William Relle and wife Fabi Howard of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Edith Ann Howard of Overland Park; brother, Ramon and Betty Criss of El Dorado; and grandchildren, Jaclynn Pickens, Tyler Howard and Maya Howard. She is preceded by her parents and brother Rodney Criss.
