Donna F. Furr, 88

Donna F. Furr, 88, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at Victoria Falls Assisted Living in Andover.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at Carlson Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado. Interment will be at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
Donna’s life began on Dec. 29,1925 in the township of Towanda, the daughter of Harry and Iva (Wilson) Wimberly. Her greatest passions in life were cooking (she loved watching others enjoying her food), music, dancing, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She couldn’t resist an opportunity to do for others. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family.
She is survived by: three daughters, De-nie (Michael) Spurlock, Debbie (Chuck) Sauer, and Dodie (Tim) Heffel, all of Wichita; 7 grandchildren, Chris (Stephanie) Spurlock, Heather (Ed) Shaw, Darin Sauer, Jenelle (Byron) Crawford, Amber Harrison, Jason (Carrie) Heffel, and Erin (Josh) Keller; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Wimberly, brother-in-law, John Clark.
Donna was preceded in death by first husband, John R. Maclean; second husband, Lloyd G. Furr; siblings, Bert Wimberly, Velma Mossman, Dolly Chandler Clark, Georgie Kennedy, and Mike Wimberly.

Sandra S. Seward, 75

Sandra Sue (Criss) Seward, 75,formerly of Augusta,passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.
Celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in El Dorado.
Sandra was born March 6, 1939 in Topeka, the daughter RD and Edith (Catlin) Criss. She graduated from Augusta High School with the class of 1957 She earned an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Kansas,
two master’s degree, one in Music Special Education from Wichita State University, the other in Learning Disabilities from Emporia State University, and a doctorate in Adult Education from Kansas State University. Her education provided the foundation for her 20-year teaching career which spanned every grade level - early childhood through college.
Sandra loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, playing the piano, writing poetry, attending the symphony and music theater. She participated in the Trinity Episcopal Church’s bible study and prayer groups. Sandra’s life was a life of service, allowing God’s light to shine in her and through her.
Sandra is survived by: her son, William Relle and wife Fabi Howard of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Edith Ann Howard of Overland Park, Kan.; brother, Ramon and Betty Criss of El Dorado; grandchildren, Jaclynn Pickens, Tyler Howard and Maya Howard.
She was preceded by her parents and her brother Rodney Criss.
