Sibyl M. Heiman, 86
Sibyl Marie Heiman, 86, of Augusta, and Pagosa Springs, Colo., passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Wichita.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Headley Funeral Chapel. Services at 10 a.m. on Friday,
May 22, 2015, at First United
Methodist Church in Augusta. Graveside services 3 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Okla.
Sibyl was bom in Blackburn, Okla. to the late Eldon and Florence (Fryer) Hoobler on April 15, 1929. She married Elson Heiman on Aug. 7,1947 in Pawnee, Okla., and he survives her. Sibyl enjoyed reading, crewel embroidery and spending many summers in Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Peggy Hoobler.
Other survivors include: her daughters, Sharilyn Heiman and Patricia (Fred) Batdorf, all of Augusta; son, Steve (Wanda) Heiman of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; grandchildren, Carl (Cari) Warne and Belinda (Joe) Hewitt; great-grandchildren, Kayl, Katelyn, Karli Warne, Aven Stueven and Reed Hewitt; brother, Robert (Betty) Hoobler of Tulsa, Okla.; and two nieces.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church in Augusta and First United Methodist Church Television Ministry in Wichita.

Dean V. Watts, 91, of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Old Mission Park Cemetery Mausoleums in Wichita.
Born in Peck, Kan., he was the son of Loren and Hattie (Roll) Watts. He was raised and educated in Douglass, and later attended Butler County Community College until being drafted into the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, Dean worked for Boeing Aircraft Company. He was united in marriage to Martha Kephart on March 29, 1969, at the Augusta Christian Church. Dean later worked for Scholfield Realty as a licensed real estate aAgent.
His family includes: his wife, Martha
of Augusta; son, Troy Watts of Augusta; grandson, Dalton Watts of Augusta; brother, Eldon Watts of Wichita; three step children, Wade Dulin and wife, Linda of Wichita, Karen Yost and husband, Bob of Augusta, Donna Jacot and husband, John of Moline; four step grandchildren, Jennifer Crider and husband, John, Paula McAtee and husband, Mike, Doug Pope, Kale Meeks and wife, Melissa; and three great- grandchildren and two on the way.
A memorial has been established in Dean’s name for RiverCross Hospice. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
