Cerre, 70, wonderful wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother and retired Boeing employee, passed away Saturday,
Dec. 28, 2014.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday,
Jan. 2, 201 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2 and funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2014, all at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta.
Judy was born Sept. 24, 1944. She graduated high school in 1962 from Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Anna Margaret (Gorm-ley) Steinmetz.
Judy is survived by: her husband of 52 years, Art Cerre of Augusta; sister, Connie (Chuck) Stoneman of Oak Grove, Mo.; three children, Jeff (Sharon) Cerre of Wichita, Stacey (Chuck) Sommers of Potwin and Shannon (Chris) Fisher of Augusta; nine grandchildren, Mike (Morgan) Lakey, Matt (Emma) Cerre, Brandon Sommers, Brad (Alicia) Lakey, John Sommers, Justin Cerre, Nick Cerre, Zack Cerre and Veronica Fisher; and three great-grandchildren, Clayton Windholz, Kamryn Windholz and Sophia Lakey.

Betty Jean Reavis, 84, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 in Andover.
Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday,
Jan. 6, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church,
Augusta. Inurnment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Betty was born in Centralia, Kan. on Sept. 18, 1930, to the late Nettie Lawrence (Smith) and Eugene Dennis Osborne. She worked as a molding machine operator at Criss Optical for 20 years and had been a waitress and home-maker. She was a member of the Kansa Travelers Camping Club. On Dec. 25, 1948 she married Forest L. Reavis in Manhattan, Kan., and he survives. She is also survived by: daughter, Lucille McDowell of Wichita; son, Ronald Reavis and wife Teresa of Augusta; grandchildren, Tracy Rains (Jon), Caryn Kuker (Josh), Savanah and Leah Jacobs, and Jacob Reavis; great granchildren, Kyla and Jessica Steenson, Ryan, Caleb and Logan Kuker, and Jacen Rains; and a great-great grandson, Brayden Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Osborne; and sisters, Margaret Hodson, Mildred Jackson and Lucille Osborne.
