Rosetta ‘Rose’ Rodriguez, 67
Rosetta M. "Rose" Rodriguez, 67, of Augusta, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan.6, 2015.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan.
8; service at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Rose was born in Liberty, Kan. on April 23, 1947, to the late Ruby and Theodore Kerns. She was a Data Processing Specialist for Met Life for 17 years and worked for the Kansas Turnpike for 8 years. She enjoyed softball, bowling, and being with her family for Christmas.
Rose is survived by: her son, Brian Rodriguez; daughters, Angie Drouillard (John) and Paula Peffly (Phil) all of Augusta; brothers, Oliver Kerns of Augusta and Ron Kerns of Goddard; sister, Louetta "Faye" Taber of El Dorado; grandchildren, Madison Schulte, Sydney and Rylee Drouillard, Mallory and Zac Rodriguez, Shelbi, Levi, Seth, Laura, Sarah Grace, Will and Samuel Peffly; great-grandchild, Michael Easton; her life long friend, Susan Hiebert; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Francis and Floyd Kerns.
Memorial Donations to Cancer Center of Kansas -El Dorado, 700 W. Central Ste 109, El Dorado, Kansas 67042.

Carolyn J. Parker, 73, homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday,
Jan. 12, 2015, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery using the 12th St. entrance.
Carolyn married Joe Parker on Aug. 16, 1958 in Okemah,
Okla. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and "greatgranny". Carolyn enjoyed playing bridge, flower gardening, and was an avid college sports fan. She was a member of Eastern Star.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethyl Bennett; brothers, Glen Sanders, Billy Bennett, and Calvin Bennett; sisters, Sue O'Steen, and Elaine Unterkircher.
Survivors include: her husband, Joe Parker; daughters, Mary (Gilbert) Kolb of Augusta, and Laurie (Jerry) Hoyt of Bartlesville, Okla.; son, David (Brandon Shea) Parker of Seattle, Wash.; brother, James (Dottie) Bennett; sister-in-law, Cookie Summers; grandchildren Aubrey (Jarod) Pirtle, Tyson Hoyt, Megan Dugger, and Amanda Hoyt; great-grandchildren, Cameron Pirtle, Kaylee Dugger Raegan Pirtle, Jonas Dugger; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
