Clyde Aubuchon, 89
Clyde Aubuchon, 89, Augusta, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, no family visitation is planned; funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, both at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
Clyde was born Jan. 1, 1926, in Grandin, Mo., to James and Fronie (Carnahan) Aubuchon. He graduated from Douglass High School in 1942. He was a farm hand. Clyde enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and the fiddle.
He is survived by: his sister, Eva Frans of Mulvane; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Clyde was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom, Alvin, Elmer and Lloyd Aubuchon; his sisters, Pauline Riggs and Mildred Looney; and his parents.
A memorial has been established for Park Place Ministry Center in care of the funeral home.
AUGUSTA
Eva G. Whittington, 90
Eva Geraldine Whittington, 90, of Augusta, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. There will be a private family interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
Eva was bom in Florence, Kan. on July 27, 1924, to the late Minnie Bell (Gurley) and Jesse Olen Whittington. She worked in an ammuntion plant during WWII and enjoyed working at the Augusta Historical Theatre.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Guy Whittington and Kenneth Whittington; sisters, Sylvia Mc-Grew and Alberta Callahan.
Eva is survived by her brother, Donald Whittington of Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to Meals on Wheels.
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
June Parry, 93
June (Bisagno) Parry, 93, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, in Texas.
Visitation 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Headley Funeral Chapel. Graveside service 11 a.m. Friday,
Jan. 16, 2015, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Those attending should use the Ohio Street entrance.
June was born in Galatia, I11. on June 12, 1921, to the late Aline (Karnes) and David Arthur Bisagno. She was a home-maker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. June was a member of the Methodist Church, Docent National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, P.E.O. and Pi Beta Phi sorority. She played bridge, was an antique collector, loved dogs especially bird dogs, was a great cook, enjoyed helping her friends whenever she could, and was the perfect hostess. One of her favorite things to eat was chocolate chip ice cream. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh.
June loved her family very much, especially her mother and the love of her life, husband Ward Loomis Parry. They were married on Feb. 14, 1943 in Kansas City, Mo. He preceded her in death. A
brother, Bob Bisagno, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by: daughter, Susan Parry Jacques and husband A. J. of Woodward, Okla.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Aline Jacques Munroe and husband Jim of Southlake, Texas and Jennifer Susan Jacques Flanery and husband Matthew of Woodward, Okla.; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Elizabeth Munroe, Gavin James Munroe and Cason James Flanery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Augusta Historical Theatre.
