Richard E. Willett, 79
Richard E. Willett, 79, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at home.
Memorial service 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Richard was born on Jan. 22, 1936 in Hays, Kan., to the late Frank and Thelma (Dick) Willett.
Richard entered and completed Army-ROTC at Wichita University, and served as a lieutenant in the Army. On Aug. 31, 1957,
Richard married his high school sweetheart, Carole Ann Haas, at Blessed Sacrament in Wichita. Later in his life he worked hard for his family as a loan officer at First National Bank in Wichita and in finance and car sales. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Andover.
Survivors include: his children, Glen Willett and wife Deann of Augusta, Brenda Woodman and husband Steve of Wichita, and Craig Willett and wife Tasha of Fredonia; grandchildren, A. J., Oliver and Benjamin Willett; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Headley Funeral Chapel for the grandchildren's college fund.

Carl J. Crease Sr., 80, retired building contractor and manager of Augusta Senior Center, passed away Sunday, March 29,
2015 in Wichita.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 3; service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015, all at Headley Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Carl was born in Wichita on Oct. 2, 1934 to the late Anna Mae (Denham) and Kenneth Wallace Crease. Carl enjoyed going to casinos and traveling. On Aug. 27, 1993 he married Marjorie (Hoag) Gaskill in Augusta and she survives him.
He is also survived by: children, Kenneth R. Crease (Glendia) of Illinois, Carl J. "Bud" Jr. Crease (Sharon) of Missouri, Wanda Poindexter (Bob) of Indiana, Chris Crease of Wichita, Marlena Welch of Georgia, Teresa Tribelhorn (Tim) of Wichita, Clifford Tatum (Ronnie) of Arkansas City, Brian Grimes of Wichita; Cheryl Gilbert of Augusta; brothers, Conrad of Wichita and Wallace of Wis-conson; numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his daughter Terry Tuders and sisters, JoAnn Rourke and Marylou Pilcher.
Memorials to Cancer Center of Kansas and Augusta Senior Center.
Arrangements by Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
