Mother Dies In Wichita
Dorothy Marie Dietsch, 44, Wichita, mother of Scott Renfro of Augusta, died Friday at her home.
Her service was at 11 a.m. Monday at the Westlink Christian Church. Rev. Gene Carlson will officiate. Burial will be at the Isabel, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
Other survivors include another son, Gary Trimble of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Paula Poor and Teresa Littlefield, both of Tulsa, Okla.; a mother and stepfather, Mary and Clarence Higerd of Wichita; brother, Walter Westphal of Wichita; a sister, Jo Ann Owen of Goddard, and a grandmother, Jessie LeDou of Wichita.

Father Dies In Wichita
Wilburn J. “Bill” Peebler, 64, Wichita, father of Sharon Sipult of Augusta, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital.
His service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Byrd-Snodgrass Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Rev. David McCord will officiate and burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Oatville.
He was bom March 22, 1917 in Augusta to Fred and Mary Creton.
He married Dorothy Nieland. She survives.
He was a switchman with Southwestern Bell before his retirement in 1981. He lived in Wichita 40 years. Before that he lived in Augusta.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Other survivors include a son, Stanley Peebler of Wichita; three brothers, Samuel Peebler and Ival Peebler, both of Wichita, and John Peebler of Russell; two sisters, Beverly Cook of Fairborn, Ohio and Winifred Whitehill of Wichita, and three grandchildren.

El Dorado Banker Dies
Philip Hamm, 63, an El Dorado banker for more than 20 years, died Tuesday at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church in El Dorado and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with Butler County Community College.
Hamm is survived by his wife, Rosemary, five sons, five daughters, six brothers, three sisters and 10 grandchildren.

Sister Dies
Mrs. Cecil Shirack of rural Solomon died today at St. John’s Hospital in Salina. She is the sister of Roy Cryderman of Augusta and funeral arrangements are pending.

Granddaughter Dies At Age 6
Jennifer Marie Spencer, 6-year-old granddaughter of Pearl Spencer of Augusta, died Sunday at her home.
Her service will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Pawnee Avenue Church of God in Wichita. Rev. Fred Davey and Rev. John Davey and burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Pawnee Avenue Church of God.
She was born May 27, 1975 in Wichita to Rodney and Beverly Ann Fowler Spencer. They survive.
Other survivors include a brother, Steven and a sister, Kimberly, both of the home; and grandparents, Harper Fowler and Claudia Wehlage, both of Wichita.

Dr. Ron Carter Dies In Oklahoma
Services will be Wednesday in Tahlequah, Okla., for Dr. Ronald L. Carter, brother of Rick Carter of Augusta.
Dr. Carter died Monday morning after a lengthy illness.
In addition to his brother, he is survived by his wife, Cathy, and their three children, Mike Brett and Kelly; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Virgil L. Carter, and a sister, Terri of Tulsa, Okla.
He graduated from Augusta High School in 1966. He attended the Northeastern University in Tahlequah and the School of Optormetry, in Forest Grove, Ore.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
