John Keneipp Dies At 88
John Miller Keneipp, 88, 124 E. Kelly, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the First Christian Church. Rev. Richard Bacon will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was bom Nov. 26, 1893 in Pennsylvania to James and Lucinda Craig Keneipp.
He married Iva I. Lusher June 23, 1917 in Bridgeport, Ill.
She survives.
He was a retired Mobil Oil Corporation employee and a member of the First Christian Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Page, Longview, Wash., and Donna Watson, Vancouver, Wash.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Floris Irene Keneipp, preceded him in death in 1959. Six brothers and a sister also preceded him in death.

Father Dies In Severy
Lon Furrow, 84, Severy, father of Emery Furrow of Augusta, died Saturday at his home.
His service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Forsberg Funeral Home in Severy. Rev. David Weltmer will officiate and burial will be in the Severy South Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Lung Association.
Other survivors include his wife, Thelma Furrow of the home; stepsons, Jim Weyrauch of Haysville, Bob Weyrauch of Severy and Pat Weyrauch of Emporia and stepdaughters, Mary Kline of Salina and Elizabeth Kling of Lenexa.

O.A. Bunyard Dies At 65
Orville A. “Mick” Bunyard, 65, Wichita, father of Jack Bunyard of Leon, died Sunday at Wesley Medical Center..
His service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVorss Mortuary. Rev. Kirby Scarborough, a stepson, and Rev. Walter Guillaume will officiate and burial will be in Coats, Kan., cemetery.
He was bom Piedmont, Okla., Nov. 14, 1916 to Mr. and Mrs. Alvie Bunyard.
He was a retired mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Other survivors include his wife, Leoma Bunyard of the home; another son, Danny Bunyard of Arkansas; a daughter, Micky Lee Gray of Lakewood, Colo; stepsons, Gale Scarborough of Wichita, Ronald Scarborough of Fort Gordan, Ga., Terry Scarborough of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Kirby Scarborough of Auburn, Calif.; sisters, Louise Hammond of Brighton, Colo., and Cora Bunyard of Meade; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Brother Dies In California
Virgil Lietzke Sr., 83, Torrance, Calif., brother of Don Lietzke of Augusta, died Saturday, March 27, at the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, Calif.
His service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the McNearney’s Colonial Chapel in Wilmington, Calif.
He grew up in Augusta. He was a veteran of World War II. Before his retirement he worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital in California.
Other survivors include his wife, Vera Lietzke, of the home, and a son, Virgil Lietzke Jr., of Wichita; a brother, Harold Lietzke of El Dorado, and two grandchildren in Wichita.

Laura Muncy Dies At 102
Laura Zeen Muncy, 102, 403 Akron, died Monday, March 29, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Robert Brooks and Rev. John Wheatly officiating. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens at Shawnee Mission, Kan.
She was bom Jan. 1, 1880 at Hyden, Ky., to John and Marcha Shell Garrison.
On Oct. 10, 1908, she married William Taylor Muncy. He preceded her in death in 1977.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edith Woodson of Augusta, Mrs. Emma Cawley of Tecumseh, Neb., Mrs. Virginia Wheatly of Fairfield, Iowa, and Miss Donnabell Muncy of Willburton, Okla., 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Rites Pending For Daughter
Services are pending for Cecelia Marie Wentz, infant daughter of David and Bethel Wentz of Wilcox, Ariz., who died Monday, March 29.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sara.
Maternal grandparents are Dorothy Reed and Rev. James R. Reed of Indianapolis, Ind.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Don Wentz and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Linah Drew of Augusta.
David and Bethel Wentz are living at 1107 Granada N., Box 501, Wilcox, Ariz., 85643.

Merle Neal Died Friday
Merle Neal, brother of Ruth Zlomke of Augusta, died Friday, March 26, at Citrous Heights, Calif.
He had had several heart attacks and a stroke.
His funeral and burial were in Roseville, Calif.
