Elsie Tillotson died at AMCI
Elsie Catherine Tillotson, 84, 312 Oak, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
She was born June 1, 1902 in Billmore, Mo., to Wiley and Mattie Jane McGhee Brewer.
She married Wallace Earl Tillotson March 15, 1921 in Pochontas, Ark. He survives.
She was supervisor of housekeeping at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita before she retired.
Other surivors include daughters, Faye Skaggs of Booneville, Ark., Pearlie Conway and Chris Bybee of Wichita; sisters, Sue Bauch and Ila Strong, both of Wichita; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ethel Whitcomb
Ethel S. Whitcomb, 72, Wichita, mother of Ruth Sheridan of Augusta, died Friday at a Wichita hospital.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Wichita. Rev. Don Eshelman will officiate and buriial will be in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
A memorial has been established with the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
She was a retired registered nurse.
She was born May 8, 1914 to James Edward and Amanda J. Burtsfield Stokes in Bonner Springs.
She married Keith Whitcomb. He survives.
Other survivors include sons, John Metsch of Ogden, William Huth of Collinsville, Okla.; sisters, Myrtle Bennett of Portland, Ore., Barbara McKee of Forest Grove, Ore.; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
The Baker Funeral Home in Peabody is in charge of arrangements.

Henry E. Benyor died in Wichita
Henry Edward Benyor, 62, Wichita, stepfather of Earl Boyer of Augusta, died Saturday at the Veteran’s Hospital in Wichita.
There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born June 9, 1926 in New Hampshire.
He married Laura Ann Boyer April 7, 1979 in Latham. She surives.
He worked in the maintenance department at an Independence, Kan., nursing home.
Other survivors include stepdaughters, Carol and Peggy Benyor, addresses unknown, and Maurita Jimenez of Wichita.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Walter A. Riley dies in Louisiana
Walter A. Riley, 80, Sulphur, La., brother of Therza Stinnet of Augusta, died Sunday at his home.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Hixson Funeral Home in Sulphur. Robert Ferando and Charles White will officiate and burial will be in the Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur.
He was born Aug. 2, 1906 in Newkirk, Okla., to Amzi and Anna Newlon Riley.
He married Martha Albarado. She survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Betty Andrus of Vinton, La., Marjorie Whitaker of Sulphur; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Susan Wall dies at 32
Susan K. Wall, 32, Andover, died Saturday at the St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Calvery United Methodist Church in Wichita. Rev. Laurence Greenwood will officiate and burial will be in the Leon, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Landscaping Fund at the Calvery United Methodist Church.
She was a business teacher at Andover High School in Andover until 1985.
She was born Feb. 26, 1954 in Fort Scott to Kenneth and Beverly Keith Pharr.
She married David Worrell June 19, 1976 in Leon. He survives.
She was a member of the Kansas State Alumni Association, Kansas-National Education Association, the Kansas Business Educators Association and the Calvery United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include daughters, Sara and Kaylee, both of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pharr of Troy; brothers Keith Pharr of Austin, Texas, Stephen Pharr of Eldon, Mo., and Richard Pharr of Midland, Texas.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.
