Augustan’s father died yesterday
Harold O. Masterson, 90, of Wichita, retired Harmon-Kuhlman Machine Co. employee, father of Mac of Augusta, died yesterday.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. tomorrow at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Council Grove and Paster Don Carper will officiate.
Masterson was born Nov. 1, 1897 to Melvin and Flora Master-son in Gutherie County, Iowa.
On April 7, 1940, he and Audrey Carr were married in Wichita.
In addition to his son here, survivors include: wife, Audrey; daughter, Geraldine Shippee of Turlock, Calif.; sister, Wynona Kruse of Audubon, Iowa; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Hert Association.

Cecil B. Poore funeral Friday
Cecil B. Poore, 73, of Wichita, retired self-employed dry cleaner, father of Beverly Emond of Augusta, died yesterday.
His funeral service wil be 1 p.m. Friday at the Gospel Assembly Church in Wichita. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens and the Rev.
L. Mullineaux will officiate. Cochran Mortuary has the arrangements.
Poore was born march 21, 1914 to Maude and Clarence Poore in Hoisington.
In addition to his daughter here, survivors include: daughter,
Sue Tosh of Coffeyville, stepson, Gene Williams of Texas; stepdaughter, Jerry Jones of Wichita; sisters, Lucille Campbell of Valley Center, Helen Flake, Jessie Lee Roseberry, both of Wichita; brother, Raymond of Arkansas City; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
His wife Florence preceded him in death in 1962.

Mary Senn died Monday
Mary Frances Senn, 101, of Wichita, homemaker, died Monday.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Dunsford Funeral Home, 201 East Fifth. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Senn was born April 15, 1886 to William M. and Amanda Ann Stratton Melton in Strafford, Mo.
On July 20, 1906, she and Bert John Senn were married in Chelsea, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1962.
Her survivors include: sons, Charles N. of Winfield, John J. of Wichita; daughters, Violet Smith of Hutchinson, Irene Hunter of Wichita; sister, Olive Glasby of Lawton, Okla.; 11 grandchildren.
Three daughters and one son preceded her in death.

Florence Wallace funeral tomorrow
Florence Bottom Wallace, 94, of Cheney, died Wednesday, Nov. 18 in Wichita.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Cheney United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at noon. Wulf Mortuary in Garden Plain has the arrangements.
Wallace was born July 25, 1893 in Augusta. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include: daughter, Dixie Sebits of Cheney; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren.
Her husband Ruel preceded her in death in 1957.
A memorial has been established with Cheney United Methodist Church.

Services pending for Dr. Hugh Boyle
Services are pending for Dr. Hugh Boyle, 54, a Wichita pathologist, who was killed yesterday morning when the airplane he was flying crashed near the Augusta Municipal Airport.
Old Mission Funeral Home in Wichita has the arrangements.

Services pending for former Augustan
Services are pending for Waldo W. Thompson, 74, former Augustan, brother of Juanita Thornton of Augusta, who died last night at the St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, Calif.
Thompson had attended school in Augusta and graduated in 1933.
