William W. Lott died Saturday
William Washington Lott, 81, of Elm Springs, Ark., grandfather of Linda Skelton of Augusta, died Saturday morning, Nov. 21.
His funeral was today in Elm Spring Cemetery.
Lott was born Aug. 27, 1907 to Thomas and Mollie Lott in Van Buren County, Ark.
On Sept. 27, 1925, he and Rose Davis were married in Elm Springs.
In addition to his granddaughter here, survivors include: wife, Rose; sons, James, Tony, both of Springdale, Ark.; daughters, Ethel Brown of Whitman, Ariz., Betty Goates of Eugene, Ore., Luvairn Lott of Elm Springs.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ethel May Rusher funeral tomorrow
Ethel May (Ingram) Rusher, 87, of Blackwell, Okla., homemaker, former Wichitan, mother of Willa Dean Griffis of Douglass, died Sunday, Nov. 22.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Wichita Park Cemetery.
In addition to her daughter in Douglass, survivors include: daughters, Leta Mae Godbehere of Blackwell, Alta Lee Riley of Phoenix, Mary Marie Wilson of Wichita, Betty Jo Durben of Haysville; brothers, John Ingram of McPherson, C. Chaulkie Ingram of Blackwell; sisters, Verna Frazier of Blackwell, Edna Fitzgerald of Tonkawa, Okla; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

Mary E. Reeves rites Saturday
Retired schoolteacher Mary E. Reeves, 69, El Dorado, stepmother of Sharon Edwards of Augusta, died today at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral service will be at 10 o’clock Saturday morning,
Nov. 28, at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Burial will be in the Walnut Valley Memorial Park there. Rev. Harold Posey, a Methodist minister, will officiate.
She was born Feb. 21, 1918 in Wheaton, Minn., as a daughter of Howard I. and Winifred Jones Watts.
She graduated from Rosalia High School and attended El Dorado Junior College before receiving a master’s degree in teaching from Wichita State University.
Mrs. Reeves was a member of the Retired Teachers’ Association, the First United Methodist Church and circles of the church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the American Association of Retired People.
In addition to teaching, she worked at Beech and Douglas aircraft plants.
She first married Forrest Richards. He preceded her in death in 1962.
On Feb. 3, 1967, she and William “Bill” Lowell Reeves were united in marriage. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Johnson of Derby; a stepson, Ronald Reeves of Wichita; another stepdaughter,
Carol Leland of Wichita; six sisters, Dorothy Smith, Ethel Johnston, and Velma Morris, all of Kansas City, Mo., Frances Koch of Salem, Ore., Helen Szymanowski of Carteret, N.J., and Isabel Mangels of El Dorado; a brother, Ralph Watts of Cabot,
Ark.; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Memorials to the Alliance for Mentally Ill of Sedgwick County have been suggested.

Dewey Daniel died yesterday
Dewey Hugh Daniel, 88, of Augusta, retired Mobil Refinery oilfield employee, died yesterday at Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Dunsford Funeral Home, 201 East Fifth. Burial will be in Leon Cemetery and Rev. Amos Williams will officiate.
Daniel was born March 11, 1899 to Felix and Nanny Jane Reynolds Daniel in Kingfisher, Okla.
On Nov. 6, 1920, he and Lucy Marie Bogue were married in Cushing, Okla. She preceded him in death in Leon in 1939.
In June 1944, he and Ruth Nina Mashburn were married in Wichita.
His survivors include: wife, Ruth; daughters, Lela Marie Pinkerton of Mansfield, La., Betty Alice Easley of Caldwell, Idaho; step-daughters, Charlene Plunkett, Imogene Rutherford, both of Fresno, Calif.; five grand-children; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren.
One son, Harold, and two daughters, Lorene Grace and Dorothy Jean, preceded him in death.

Services pending for George Dean
Services are pending for George V. Dean, 67, of Wichita, retired Cessna Aircraft Co. industrial engineer, father of Lowetta Finlay and Debbie Beardslee, both of Augusta, who died yesterday.
In addition to his two daughters here, survivors include: wife, Florence; son, Dale of Wichita; stepdaughter, Sharon Flack of Woody Creek, Colo.; brother, Glenn of Pittsburg; sisters, Alma Love of Omaha, Lila Muhlstein of Santa Clara, Utah; nine grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
Lakeview Funeral Home has the arrangments.
