Augustan’s brother died Monday
Carl R. “Dick” Kimble, 68, of Mulvane, died Monday, June 6. He was the brother of Bill Kimble of Augusta. -
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mulvane United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Mulvane Cemetery.
Kimble was a co-owner of Kimble’s Kountry Kitchen and a retired Boeing Military Airplanes supervisor.
In addition to his brother, he is survived by his wife, Vera Mae, of the home; sons, Gerald and Bruce of Mulvane; mother, Leota of Mulvane; brother, Gayle of Mulvane; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials have been established with Mulvane United Methodist Church and St. Joseph Medical Center Oncology Unit. Senter-Smith Morturary in Mulvane is in charge of service arrangements.

Infant stillborn; funeral today
Dawn Ann Estes, infant daughter of Donald and Carol Estes of Augusta, was stillborn Saturday, June 4.
Her memorial service was earlier today at El Paso Cemetery in Derby.
Other survivors include:
grandparents, William and Mary Estes of Wichita, Richard and Mary Jones of Derby; great-grandparents, Mary Brock of Wichita, Hazel Estes of Seattle.
Smith Mortuary in Derby was in charge of arrangements.

Towanda rancher died Tuesday
Harold E. Mosier, 61, of Towanda, died Tuesday, June 7.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Mosier, a rancher, is survived by his wife, Gladys; son, Roger of Towanda; daughters, Linda Wallace of Towanda, Brenda Lee of Cleveland, Mo., Mary at home; brother, Hayward of El Dorado; sister, Hazel Bankey of El Dorado; seven grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Terramara, El Dorado.

Rose Hill man’s service pending
William R. Johnson of rural Rose Hill died Wednesday, June 8, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita. Funeral services are pending with Dunsford Funeral Home.

Rose Hill man’s service Saturday
W. Ralph Johnson, 72, of rural Rose Hill, died Wednesday, June 8, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wichita Park Cemetery. Rev. Dale Valentine will officiate.
Johnson was born Nov. 21, 1915, to William F. and Ada O. (Dennis) Johnson in Wichita. On May 2, 1953, he married Mary Naomi Smith in Arkansas. She survives of the home.
He was a retired night foreman for F & E Grocery Wholesale Company in Wichita. His organizational interests included Sunflower 86 Masonic Lodge Consistory and membership in the Douglass Christian Church. Johnson was also a veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife, Johnson leaves a sister, Lucille Gettle of Hutchinson; mother, Ada Johnson of Hutchinson; four grandchildren.

Harris died Wednesday
Marguerite L. (McLain) Harris, 74, of Topeka, died Wednesday, June 8. She was the daughter of Flossie McLain of Augusta and a former resident of Douglass.
A graveside service for Harris will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Douglass Cemetery.
Other survivors include her husband, Wardell; brothers, Luther of St. Charles, Mo., Paul of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Pauline Foster of Arkansas City; two grandchildren.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass is in charge of arrangements.
