Edwards died at Susan B. Allen in El Dorado
James S. Edwards, 80, of El Dorado, died Monday evening at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Dr. Michael Thome will officiate and burial will be in the Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Leota; three sons, James L. of France, Jack L. of Washington, Thomas D. of Wichita; three
brothers, Raymond of Douglass, Enoch of Carnerio, Fred of Salina; five sisters, Zelma Stebbins of El Dorado, Lois Brown of Latham, Rosie Wheeler of Leon, Gladys Patton of Wichita, Betty Shaffer of Leon; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His former wife, Audrey M. Edwards, and one brother, Al Edwards, preceded him in death.
Kirby-Morris Guardian Chapel in El Dorado has the arrangements.
Jane Gentzler’s mother, brother died on Sunday
Augustan Jane Gentzler’s mother, Myrtle Saltzman, and brother, Charles Saltzman, both died on Sunday in Pennsylvania.
Graveside services for both will be held Thursday.
Mrs. Saltzman, the grandmother of Larry, Jerry, Dave, and Dan Gentzler, was born on Jan. 19, 1894 and Charles Saltzman was born on May 3, 1918.
There will be a reception for Doc and Jane Gentzler when they return home from Pennsylvania.

Graveside services Saturday for Fulk
Hal Russell Fulk, 89, of Douglass and retired mechanic, died Wednesday.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Douglass Cemetery.
Survivors include son, James B. of Douglass; daughters, Violet Orr of Chanute, Okla., Velda Ford of Willamina, Ore.; sister, Vera Bernacki of Midland, Texas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass Public Library.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home has the arrangements.
Douglass man died at age 68
Royce O. Weir, 68, of Douglass and retired Boeing Military Airlplanes shipping clerk, died Tuesday.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at White Chapel memorial Gardens in Wichita.
Survivors include brothers, Murrel of Sedgwick, Dwight of Las Cruces, N.M.; and sisters, Valoise Hilderbrandt of Slidell, La., Clearice Woolston of Bossier City, La., LaVon Olson of
Hillsdale, Mich.

Former Augustan died on Tuesday
Verna Brooks, 89, of Wichita and formerly of Augusta, died Tuesday.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by son, Gene of Wichita; daughter, Bonnie Abell of Denver, Colo.; brother, Ralph Jacques of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials are to the Presbyterian Manor.

McGuire services to be at Dunsfords
Gary Lee McGuire, 24, of Wichita and son and step-son of Evelyn and Gerald Milligan of Augusta, died Saturday.
His services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Chapel with interment at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Gene Bandy of the Bethany Baptist Church will officiate.
He was born to Bobby Eugene and Evelyn (Murphy) McGuire opn March 13, 1965 in Wichita.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Evelyn and Gerald Milligan of Augusta; brothers, Billy Eugene of Augusta, Robert Dean, Jimmy Joe, both of Wichita; step-brother, Jerry Allan Milligan of Wichita; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Keno Leigh of Towanda and Joe Murphy of Howard.
