Mother of Douglass man’s died Tuesday
Erma D. Courtney, 60, of Wichita and mother of Douglass man Steve Courtney, died Tuesday, July 18.
Services for the homemaker will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cochran Mortuary and the burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, rural Winfield.
Other survivors include her sons, Dan of Molalla, Ore., Jim of Kellyville, Okla., Phillip of England, David, address unavailable; daughters, Linda, Helen, addresses unavailable; brothers, Arthur Elam of Sedalia, Mo., Earl Elam of Hinesville, Ga., Harley Elam of Wichita, Joseph Elam of Winfield, Wayne Elam of Savannah, Mo., Herb Elam of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Fern Arnold of San Diego, Calif., Patricia Rockhold of Arkansas City; and numerous grandchildren.

Thursday funeral for Hogan’s father
Andover woman Treva Hogan’s father, Glen Dale Holm, died Monday, July 17, at the age of 53.
Services for the former Peabody resident will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody.
The carpenter is survived by his wife, Norma; sons, George, Richard, both of Peabody; daughters, Annette White, Liz Holm, Traci Holm, all of Peabody, Treva Hogan of Andover; mother, Elizabeth of Peabody; brother, Bill of Oklahoma City; sisters, Laura Branham of Peabody, Dawn Taylor of Fontana, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Memorials are to Hospice Inc., Wichita.
