T.B. Murrow Service Today
Thelma B. Murrow, 71, Belle Plaine, mother of William Murrow of Augusta, died Friday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her service was 2 p.m. today at the Mulvane Bretheran Church. Rev. David Powell officiated and burial was in the Mulvane Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Mulvane Bretheran Church.
She was born Oct. 8, 1910 in Alva, Okla., to Levi and Bessie Williams Cole.
She married Cleo Murrow June 13, 1931 in Alva. He survives.
Other survivors include sons, Robert Murrow. of Rose Hill, Gary Murrow of Haysville and Benny Murrow of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Herschel Cole and Lee Cole, both of Alva; sisters, Wilma Noll of Chula Vista, Calif., Bessie Pickerill of Dix, Ill., Hester Jones of Bakersfield, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
W.R. Hogan Dies At 64
William R. Hogan, 64, Douglass, died Sept. 5 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita.
His service were at 10 a.m. today at the All Saints Catholic Church in Wichita. Msgr. H.N. Hertel officiated and burial was in Mount Olive Cemetery in Moline.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
He was born Oct. 19, 1917 in Moline to William and Margaret Green Hogan.
He was a retired Boeing Military Airplaine Co., machinist.
He was a member of the Shrine.
Survivors include sons, Robert Hogan and Thomas Hogan, both of Burlington; daughters, Lynda Coffman of Harrah, Okla., and Vickie McDaniel of Wichita; brothers, Curtis of Butte, Mont., and Marion Hogan of Wichita, and five grandchildren.

Father Dies In Hillsboro
Henry Laubhan, 77, Hillsboro, father of Eldon Laubham of Augusta, died Saturday.
His service was at 2:30 p.m. today at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
Other survivors include sons, Dennis Laubham of Manhattan and Loren Laubham of Hillsboro, and a daughter, Phyllis Neunenschwander of Hillsboro.
C. Bannon Dies At 80
Charles Bannon, 80, rural Burden, brother of Clarence Bannon of Augusta, died Saturday at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His service was at 2 p.m. today at Miles Mortuary in Burden. Rev. L.L. Penninger officiated and burial was at the Highland Cemetery in Winfield.
He was born March 14, 1902 near Mulvane to George and Lucy Daniels Bannon.
He married Beatrice Ellen Ferguson May 1, 1920 in Wichita. She preceded him in death in 1976.
He was a retired farmer and stockman.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Bannon Jr., of Burden and Vernon Bannon of El Dorado; another brother George Bannon of Wichita; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Burkett Rites Thursday
Dorothy Burkett, 55, Route 3, died Sept. 6 at Knutson Manor nursing home in El Dorado.
Her service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Dunsford Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita.
She was born Aug. 25, 1927 in Rison, Ark., to William and Florence Lunsford Clutters.
She married Monroe C. Burkett July 24, 1947 in McGee, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Survivors include sons, Charles Burkett and Danny Burkett, both of Wichita, Troy Burkett of Augusta; Johnny Burkett and Ronnie Burkett, both of Benton, Ark.; daughters, Linda Walty and Lola Lee, both of Augusta, Thelma Walter of Haysville, Pat Brannan of Southwest City, Mo., and Judy Johannes of Meriden; her mother, Florence Granderson of Kingsland, Ark., and 17 grandchildren.
Rites Pending For D. Brown
Rites are pending at the Dunsford Funeral Home for David C. Brown.
Brown, 1705 Dearborn, died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Wichita Tuesday.
The 32-year-old Augustan was driving a Harley-Davidson west on Kellogg when a car driven by Elma J. Shipley, Wichita, turned in front of him.
Shipley has been charged with failing to yield the right-of-way.
