Grace Plummer dies at hospital
Grace Plummer, 92, Augusta, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Augusta Medical Complex.
A graveside service is planned for noon Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery. That will follow an 11 a.m. memorial service at Kingdom Hall of rural Augusta, Larry Blythe will officiate.
She was born July 5, 1897 at Vinita, Okla., as a daguhter of Franklin Parker and Dona Rodgers Parker.
On Dec. 17, 1927, she married Hugh Plummer in a ceremony at Ponca City, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1964.
Mrs. Plummer worked as a school teacher in Oklahoma and Kansas for 25 years. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Plummer of Augusta, John Plummer of Kimberling City, Mo., and Charles Plummer of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Patricia Richey of Augusta, and Dr. Marilou Morris of Jupiter, Fla.; 21 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Four sisters preceded her in death.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph H. Snyder funeral Friday
Ralph Howard Snyder, 66, Augusta, died Wednesday, Oct.
18, at Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service will be 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lynn Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
He was bom July 16, 1923 in Manley, Iowa, as a son of Ralph Harden Snyder and Gertrude Wendt Snyder. The mother survives.
Snyder was the retired owner-operator of Snyder’s Garage in Wichita.
This veteran of the army air corps was a charter member of Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church and held memberships in North Star Lodge, Boy Scouts of America, Wichita Consistory, Midian Shrine, Who’s Who in America, High 12 Club, and the Society of American Engineers.
Memorials to the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church have been suggested.
The Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
