Margaret Dennison dies Wednesday
Margaret F. Dennison, 67, Wichita, died Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Her daugther, Jana Brewer of Augusta, survives.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Magdalen, Wichita. Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. today at Downing & Lahey Mortuary.
Other survivors include son, Tom of Benton; daughter, Betty Deson of Wichita; brother, Don Kearney of Salinas, Calif.; sister, Norma Cole of Gladewater, Texas; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.

Rose E. Gish services Monday
Rose E. Gish, 90, Baldwin City, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, at a Baldwin City nursing home.
Gish had lived in Augusta a number of years.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin City.
Gish was bom Nov. 1,1899 at Hays to George and Margaret (Andrews) Belford. Gish grew up in Greeley, Colo, and graduated from Greeley High School. She attended Sterling College at Sterling, graduating in 1921. She received a bachelor of science in education, and she had been president of her class.
After graduation, she taught foreign language and coached basketball in Colorado. Most of her life, she was a homemaker.
On Sept. 4, 1923, she married Lee N.' Gish in Greeley. He preceded her in death in 1975. The couple lived in several Kansas communities during their working years. These included Hamilton, Bclpre, Little River, Kings-man and Augusta. After the death of her husband, Gish continued to live in Augusta and then moved to Wichita. She then relocated in 1982 to Baldwin City at the Orchard Lane Nursing Home.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
Augusta, and the chapter AF,
P.E.O., organization in Augusta.
Survivors include three son,
Dr. Lowell of Baldwin City, Larry of Stillwater, Okla., G. Merlin of Merriam; nine grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas State University Center for Basic Cancer Research, Division of Biology,
Manhattan, Kan. 66506.
Lola Mae Laird dies Saturday
Lola Mae (Morris) Laird, 75, Towanda, died Saturday, Aug. 18.
She is the sister of Augusta resident Billie Holscher.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Towanda Cemetery.
Other survivors include son, Hobert Williams of Bartesville, Okla.; daughters, Juanita Holem of Towanda, Margaret McCauley of El Paso, Texas; sister Carol Nichols of Wichita; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

Elbert L. DeWater services Saturday
Ford Motor Company auto painter Elbert L. DeWater, 54, Kansas City, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 14, died at the Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City.
He is a former Douglass resident.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas Christian Church, the Rev. Dale Valentine officiating. Burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
DeWater was bom June 6, 1936, in Winfield to Leona (Shockey) and Charles DeWater. They survive in Douglass.
Other survivors include a son, Charles, of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Debbie Mulkey, Carol and Lisa DeWater, all of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Beverly DeWater of Jonesbourgh, Ark.; three grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass Christian Church.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Orville Larson dies Thursday
Orville Larson, 80, Albert Lea, Minn., died Thursday, Aug. 16, in Albert Lea.
He is the brother of Augusta resident Russell Larson.
Services will be Saturday, Aug. 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
Larson is also survived by his brother, Ray Larson of Wichita.
