Mrs. Dickerson dies in Missouri
Beverly Dickerson of Spring-field, Mo., wife of former Augustan Richard J. “Dick” Dickerson, died Thursday, Aug. 30, after a long illness at a Springfield hospital.
A memorial service has been held.
In addition to her husband, she leaves three children, daughters Mrs. Don Ryan and Lisa Ann Dickerson, and a son, David Dickerson. Her mother-in-law, Mrs. Walter Dickerson of Wichita also survives.
Mr. Dickerson is a 1947 graduate of Augusta High School and his home address is 2158 East Briar, Springfield, Mo., 65804.

Former Augustan dies Friday
John Robert Sheridan, 33, Dallas, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 31.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Sheridan is a former Augusta resident.
Survivors include parents, Duane and Ruth Sheridan of Augusta; brother, Randy, Augusta.
Baker Funeral Home, Pea-body, is in charge of arrangements.
Norma Applegate dies Thursday
Norma Norvill Applegate, 81, Augusta, died Thursday, Aug. 30, at the Augusta Medical Complex Inc.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunsford Funeral Chapel, the Rev. George Goudie officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Applegate was bom May 12, 1909, in Pansy, Mo., to James Ashley Walker
and Lucinda Stillings. Survivors include sons, David G. of Louisville, Ky„ and Gary A. of Indonesia;
daughters, Lois L. Williams of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., and Johnette Johnson of Idabel, Okla.;
niece, Juanita Thornton, Augusta; 10 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Services pending for William Collins Jr.
Services for William Collins Jr., 36, Augusta, are pending at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Collins died Thursday at the Augusta Medical Complex Inc.

Services will be Wednesday at Culbertson Mortuary in Wichita, and burial will be at Udall.
Other survivors are husband, Clifford, of the Masonic Home in Wichita; son, Tim of Wichita; sister, Norma Green of Burdin; three nephews and two nieces.

Frederick P. Reschke services Saturday
Retired contract welder Frederick Paul Reschke, 78, Augusta, died Wednesday, Aug. 29.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Rose Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery near Rose Hill.
Reschke was bom March 16, 1912, in rural Pratt County to William F. and Nancy Emily (Johnson) Reschke.
Survivors include his wife, Creola, of the home; two sons, Fred W. and Merle C., both of Augusta; two daughters, Emily Jane Ward of Rose Hill and Donna K. Snook of Wichita; a brother, David C. of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Rose Hill United Methodist Church.
Cochran Mortuary of Wichita is in charge of arrangements

Retired Mobil Oil Company employee James W. Warrender, 83, Augusta, died Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Augusta Medical Complex Inc.
Graveside services were today at Elmwood Cemetery, the Rev. Robert Box officiating.
Warrender was bom Sept. 22, 1906, to James O. and Ella M.
Warrender in Augusta.
He had served in the United States Army.
