C.L. Lemeke Dies At 67
Carl Logan Lemeke, 67, Route 3, died yesterday.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Phil McCormick will officiate and burial will be in the Dunlap Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 7, 1915 in Hickory Ridge, Ark., to Rudolph and Nancy Betts Lemeke.
He married Edna Iona Dunlap March 24, 1937 in Hickory Ridge. She survives.
He was a retired Beech Aircraft Co. employee and a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.
He served in the military during World War II and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Other survivors include a son, Ron Lemeke of Augusta; three daughters, Janey Browning, Judy Orr and Kyle Stewart, all of Augusta; a brother, Logan Lemeke of Forrest City, Ark.; five sisters, Orlen King of Little Rock, Ark., Lavina Ritchart, of Payne, Okla., Edith Ballard of Hickory Ridge, Ark., Mary Martin of Wynne, Ark., and Ruby Ward of Phoenix, Ariz., and nine grandchildren.

Sister Dies In Winfield
Rogene Hall, 61, Winfield, sister of Robert Sipe of Augusta, died Sunday at the Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield.
Her service will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Millington Street Baptist Church in Winfield. Rev. K.B. Murray will officiate and burial will be in the Burden, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church.
She was born May 10, 1921 in Leon to David and Hazel Doughty Sipe.
She married Vernon Hall May 5, 1962 in Winfield. He survives.
She was a retired Avon sales person, a member of the Millington Street Baptist Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
Other survivors include a daughter, Joan Hundley of Ponca City, Okla; stepsons, Steve Hall of Winfield, Stan Hall of Irving, Texas, Tom Hall of Phoenix, Ariz.; another brother Grant Sipe of Gage, Okla; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of arrangements.

Former Augustan Dies In Colorado
Marian White, a retired school teacher and former employee of the Mobil Oil refinery at Augusta, died last week in Loveland, Colo., according to a friend here.
