Watkins Infant
Is Stillborn
The infant son of Jimmy Joe and Catharina Denis Hull Watkins of Towanda was stillborn at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Wednesday.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Elmwood Cemetery here.
Besides his parents, survivors include his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hull of Towanda and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Watkins of Andover, and great-grandparents, Mrs. Don Jackson and Mrs. Lynn Truskolawksi of Towanda.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Brother Dies
Cecil E. Learned, 80, Afton, Okla., brother of Bonnie Haynes of Douglass, died Tuesday.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Mulvane Cemetery.
Other survivors include his wife, Lottie Learned of the home.
Senter-Smith Mortuary of Mulvane is in charge of arrangements.

Rites Today For Infant
Little Joe Junior Watkins, son of Catharina D. and Jimmy Joe Watkins of Towanda was buried today at Elmwood Cemetery.
He was stillborn Wednesday at a Wichita hospital.
Other survivors include grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hull of Towanda and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Watkins of Andover.

Lula Lewis Dies At 91
Lula Josephine Lewis, 91, Augusta, died Friday at the Mid America nursing home in El Dorado.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today at the Holderman Cemetery in Potwin. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. officiated.
She was born Feb. 24, 1891 in Potwin to William Worth and Laura Belle Joseph Kemper.
She lived in Colorado Springs, Colo., before living in Augusta.
Among the survivors is a nephew, Clarence G. Kemper of Augusta.

Gladys Edwards
C. Gladys Edwards, 73, Satanta, formerly of Leon, died Thursday in a Ulysses nursing home.
Her service was at 10:30 a.m. today at the Leon United Methodist Church. Rev. Jack Williams officiated and burial was in the Leon Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 12, 1909 in Bessie, Okla., to Fred and Mary Mabel Jacobs McAllister.
She married Charles Edwards Aug. 12, 1926 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He died Feb. 11. 1967.
She was a member of the Leon United Methodist Church; the Little Walnut Chapter of the Eastern Star, and the Queen Esther Shrine.
Survivors include two sons, Allen Joe Edwards of Satanta and Jerry James Edwards of La Mesa, Calif.; a daughter, Doris P. Schriver of Lancaster, Calif.; her mother, Mary McAllister of Wichita; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado was in charge of arrangements.

H.R. Schultz Dies At AMCI
Hazel Ray Schultz, 87, 1220 Euclid, died Friday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Bacon will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 11, 1895 in Augusta to Addison E. and Sarah Ann Young Koons.
She married Charles Henry Schultz. He died Feb. 21, 1974.
She was a retired grocery store owner.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church.
She married Charles Henry Schultz Feb. 5, 1914. He died Feb. 21, 1974.

Schlickeiser Rites Tuesday
Edward Guy Schlickeiser, 37, rural Rose Hill, died Sunday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta. Pastor Delmar Brack will officiate. Burial will be in Portland, Ore., with the Mt. Scott Funeral Home making arrangements.
He was born June 2, 1945 in Portland to Carl Edward and Viola Freeman Schlickeiser.
He married Cheryl Lynn Papen Feb. 7, 1981 in El Dorado. She survives.
He was an exterminator and a Lutheran. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.
Other survivors include a son, Wesley and a daughter, Amy, both of the home; a brother, Gary Schlickeiser; a sister, Joann Graham, and his mother, all of Portland.
