M. Eichenberger

Margie Eichenberger, 75, Wichita, died Thursday, Jan. 17.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Quiring Old Mission funeral home in Wichita.
This former Augusta resident leaves a daughter, Susan George of Wichita;
a brother, Wining Webster, of Augusta,
and three sisters, Geraldine King of Baton Rouge, La., Maxine Pulver and Pauline Johrtston, both of Augusta.

Verl Allen i (Gilder) DeWitt

Verl Allen (Gilder) DeWitt, 27, Colorado Springs, Colo., died Saturday, Jan. 12. He was a former Augusta resident.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 16. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
Nolan Funeral Home in Colorado Springs was in charge of arrangements.

Virginia L. Rawlings
Retired bookkeeper Virginia L. Rawlings, 64, El Dorado, died Thursday morning at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Oil Hill and attended school there.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the First Christian Church, El Dorado.
Interment will follow the services at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
Rawlings was born May 24, 1926, at Oil Hill, to O.T. and Carrie (Richardson) Lawrence. She grew up in this area.
She has lived in El Dorado most of her life.
On March 29, 1947, she married Robert L. Rawlings who preceded her in death on May 19, 1988, in El Dorado.
Rawlings was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, John of El Dorado; two daughters, Gerry Mortson of Duncan, Okla.,
Marcia Haskins of Plevna; a brother, Raymond A. (Dutch) Lawrence of El Dorado; five grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, El Dorado.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado, is in charge of arrangements.

Larry McCray
Retired self-employed auto mechanic Larry A. McCray, 69, Haysville, died Wednesday, Jan 16.
He is the father of Augusta resident Anna I. West.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.
Other survivors include wife, Irene; son, Larry A. Jr.; daughter, Ruth Sands of Haysville;
brothers, Harold J., Robert, Burnard, all of Haysville, Clarence L. of Milbum, Okla., Wayne of Vacaville, Calif.,
Richard of Wichita, Steve of Wellington; sisters, Faye Smith, Hazel, both of Wichita,
Jane Bible of Wooster, Ohio, Mary Jones of Everett, Wash., Katherine Lounsburg of Enid, Okla.,
Geneva Boyer of Hunter, Okla.; 10 grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.


Maude Hyson
Maude Hyston, 106, Ottawa, grandmother of former Augustan Dr. Carl Heinrich,
and greatgrandmother of David and Jon Heinrich, both of Augusta, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, at an Ottawa rest home.
Her funeral service was today at the Americus Methodist Church and burial was to be in a community cemetery there.
