Aubra Lewis Gannon
Retired cattleman and contractor Aubra Lewis Gannon, 83, Fort Scott, died Saturday, Jan. 26.
He is the father of Augusta resident Mrs. Lynn Susan Hanzlicek.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, Fort Scott.
Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Fort Scott.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Other survivors include his wife, Ann, of the home; three daughters, Betty Mae Welborn of Aurora, Colo.,
Peggy Ann Gannon of Denver, Colo., Patricia Ann Hill of Springfield, Mo.;
two sons, Edgar L. of Wheatridge, Colo., Jerry L. Jones of Fresno, Calif.; six brothers; three sisters;
14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Assembly of God Church.
Thelma M. (Nutter) Walker
Retired Cudahy Packing Co. spice girl Thelma M. (Nutter) Walker, 78, Valley Center, died Sunday, Jan. 27;
She is the mother of Leon resident Jesse Myron Metzger.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the New Horizon Holiness Church, Valley Center.
Other survivors include sons, Robert Duane Metzger of Clearwater, Darrell Dean Metzger,
William Thomas Metzger, both of Wichita, Virgil Ray Metzger of Valley Center;
daughters, Bonnie Ruth Mulkey of Denver, Colo., Janet Marcelene Travis of Lincoln, Ark, Sharon Ann Payne,
Treva Pearl Walker, both of Wichita; brother, Ralph Nutter of Wichita;
sisters, Florence Metzger of Dayton, Ohio, Martha Forbes of Wichita; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Cochran Mortuary, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Douglass Cemetery.
Survivors include companion, Dixie Adkins of Douglass; a son, Dennis of Marysville;
three brothers, Donald of Wellington, Dan of Sabetha, Warren of Lawrence;
two sisters, Gladys VanAmburg of Derby, Charlotte Phipps of Pomona, Calif.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, Douglass, is in charge of arrangements.
