Clifton F. Healy
Retired farmer and Skelley Refinery employee Clifton F. Healy, 77, El Dorado,
died Saturday, Feb. 10, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, El Dorado.
He is the father of Augusta resident Clifton H. Healy.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Central Baptist Church,
the Rev. Robert Hanthom officiating.
Healy was born Aug. 9, 1913, in Leon to Cora (Buell) and Clifton A. Healy.
On Jan. 2, 1940, he married Mable “Christen” R. Christy in Columbus. She survives.
Other survivors include son, Roger F. of Elkmont, Ala.;
daughter, R. Lavaun Thomas of Siloam Springs, Ark.;
brother, Carol D. of Spring Hill; sisters, Dimple Farless of Circleville,
Bonnie Barber of Topeka; 10 grandchildren.
Healy was a member of the Central Baptist Church. A memorial has been established with the church.

Henry L. Hill
Henry L. Hill, 74, Augusta, died Sunday, Feb. 10, at his home.
His funeral service will be 2 o’clock Thursday afatemoon at the First Baptist Church of El Dorado.
Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
He was born Nov. 3, 1916 in Cabool, Mo., as a son of William and Addie Walker Hill.
On Jan. 30, 1942, he and the former Doris Shelton, were united in marriage at Houston, Mo. She survives.
This retired carpenter also leaves a son, William of Alameda, Calif.;
two sisters, Mae Burris of Cortez, Colo., and Hazel Maritt of Dewey, Okla.;
a granddaughter, Kimberly Hill of San Diego, Calif., and a grandson, Travis Hill of San Francisco.
Memorials to the First Baptist Church of El Dorado have been suggested.
The Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond Carver
Retired Boeing Wichita modification mechanic, Raymond D. Carver, 72, Wichita, died Saturday, Feb. 9.
He is the brother of Augusta resident Orville Carver and father of Leon resident Wilma Howell.
Funeral services were today at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Other survivors include his wife, Grace; son, Jim of Wichita;
daughter, Pat Mercer of Wichita; brothers, Everett of Poughkeepsie, Ark., Elvis of Evening Shade, Ark.;
sisters, Una Spurlock of Evening Shade, Ark., Ova Ratliff of Wichita,
Lovwand Carver of Batesville, Ark.; eight grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.

Nellie G. Parry
Nellie G. Parry, 92, Towanda, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
She is the mother of Kenneth Parry of Augusta.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the United Methodist Church, Douglass.
Burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
Parry was born April 29, 1898, in Douglass to Otha Anna Lanier.
On Oct. 7, 1925, she married Ray E. Parry in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1968.
Parry was a member of the United Methodist Church, Douglass,
the American Legion Auxiliary and had been a lifelong resident of Butler County.
Other survivors include daughters, Donna Smith and Marjorie Helm, both of Towanda;
seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Hilyard-Smith Mortuary in Douglass is in charge of arrangements.
