Donald Eaton Jr.

Retired Beech Aircraft Corp. tool and die maker Donald B. Eaton Jr., 72, Wichita, died Sunday, April 21.
He is the father of Donald B. III of Towanda.
Funeral services are l p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Quiring Old-Mission Mortuary, Wichita.
Other survivors include his wife, Jane; daughters, Debra B. Spurlock of Hutchinson;
stepsons, Philip Lorenz of Wichita, Kent Lorenz of Montreal;
stepdaughter, Kristie Stringer of Wichita; sister, Dorothy Wood-son of Moreno Vally, Calif.;
eight grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.

William Marler

Retired Bill Marler Roofing Co. owner-operator William L. “Bill” Marler, 64, Wichita, died Saturday, April 20.
He is the father of Augusta resident Janett Newman.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Webb Mortuary, Clearwater.
Other survivors include his wife, Twyla; daughters, Lana Alexander, Billie Garrett, both of Wichita;
half brothers, Richard Demanche of Republic, Mo., Charles Demanche of Wichita;
10 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.
A memorial has been established with the Center for Basic Cancer Research, Kansas State University.

Amelia Rhoads

Retired Veterans Administration Medical Center telephone suprervisor Amelia Rosalie Rhoads, 78, Douglass,
died Sunday, April 21.
Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Poplar Avenue Church of Christ, Wichita.
Other survivors include her husband, John; daughters, Louise A. Cantrell, Marie Staple, both of Wichita,
Mary Jane Gentry of Bel Aire, Bonnie Schmidt of Goddard, Alicia M. at home;
eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, Douglass, is in charge of arrangements.

William Calkins
U.S. Army retiree William E “Bill” Calkins, 68, Sunrise Beach, Calif., died Sunday, April 21.
His daughter, Cynthia Martin, resides in Augusta.
Graveside services are 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth.
Other survivors include his wife, Reva; a son, William of Bartlesville, Okla.;
stepsons, Darrell Bench, Michael Bench, both of Chanute; stepdaughters,’ Cheryl Osborne of Windsor, Mo.,
Sandra Alfrey of Andover;
10 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.
Hedges Funeral Home, Camden, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.

Emma Bokey

Homemaker Emma K. Bokey, 80, Wichita, died Saturday, April 20.
She is the brother of Augusta resident Frank Bailey.
Funeral services are 10 am Wednesday, April 24, at Greenwood Cemetery, Oatville.
Other survivors include a son, Vern of Grand Junction, Colo.; brothers, Curtis Larmer of Wichita,
Oscar Larmer of Manhattan; sister, Carol L. Germillion of Wichita;
seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
De Vorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Leland Seivley

Retired Seivley Green House owner-operator Leland V. Seivley, 69, El Dorado, died Monday, April 22.
He is the father of Larry Seivley of Towanda.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the First United Methodist Church El Dorado.
Other survivors include his wife, Lucille; daughters, Carol of Lawrence, Cindy of Wichita;
brothers, Robert, Wilson, both of Rose Hill, Eldon of Denver, Colo.;
one grandchild.
Memorials have been established with First United Methodist Church,
Hospice Inc., and Kansas State University horticultural scholarship.
Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, is in charge of arrangements.
