Christopher Wall

Christopher Allen Wall, 31, San Francisco, Calif., died Friday, Oct. 11.
He was the brother of Mike Wall of Augusta.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Downing & Lahey Mortuary, Wichita.
Other survivors include his mother, Gayle Ralph of Howard; father, Thomas Jr. of Dodge City;
brothers, Glenn of Wichita, Rick Simmons of San Diego, Calif.; grandmother, Beatrice Riegel of Norwich, Conn.
A memorial has been established with the University of Kansas School of Medicine
M. P.A., Attn. Kay Myrtle, 1010 N. Kansas, Wichita, Kan. 67214.

Ralph Cline

Ralph Warren Cline, 68, Douglass, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wichita.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Douglass Cemetery.
Cline was born Feb. 13, 1923, in Douglass in Neal & Mary Evelyn (Thompson) Cline.
Cline attended Douglass schools and graduated from Douglass High School in 1943.
During the years 1943-45, he served in the U.S. Army.
After living in Wichita for several years, he returned to Douglass in 1962.
He was a guard for Beech Aircraft from 1968-88.
He was a mmeber of the Douglass First Christian Church, Douglass American Legion Post 202
and the Kansas Peace Officers Corp.
Survivors include a sister, Zelma Smith of Douglass; and a brother, Dale Cline of Augusta.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
Miles-Wheeler Memorial Chapel, Winfield, is in charge of arrangements.

John Schroeder

John “Bugg” O. Schroeder, 81, rural Stillwater, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Okla. He was the father of Phyllis Kappelmann of Augusta.
Funeral services were today at St. Francis Catholic Church, Father Richard Bradley officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater.
Schroeder was born Oct. 29, 1909, in Payne County, Okla, to Christine (Lampe) and Anton Schroeder.
On May 2, 1939, he married Nellie Miller in Stillwater, Okla. She survives.
After their marriage, they lived southeast of Stillwater until his death.
He attended school at St. Francis Parochial School.
After his education, he farmed southeast Stillwater, Okla.
Schroeder was a member of The St. Francis Catholic Church.
He was a member of the board of directors of the Citizens State Baftk in Morrison, Okla.
He was preceded in death by Tour brothers, three sisters and a grandson.
Other survivors include two sons, Steve Schroeder of Stillwater and Alan Schroeder of Claremore, Okla.;
two more daughters, Janelle Arthur of Stillwater and Karen Oliver of Oklahoma City;
13 grandchildren; one brother, George Schroeder of Stillwater.
Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater, is in charge of arrangements.

Don McBeth

Don E. McBeth, 65, Winfield, died Friday, Oct. 18. He was the father of Gena Miller of Augusta.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Winfield.
McBeth was born July 19, 1926, in Winfield to Leslie & Clara McBeth.
On Nov. 15, 1947, he married Coral Miller in Newton.
McBeth worked as an election for the Veterans Administration in Wichita from 1950 to 1981.
After retiring, he worked at Finn Electric in Winfield.
McBeth was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church the Andover American Legion,’
the Butler County American Legion Camping Association and the Kansas Anthrological Association.
Other survivors include his wife, Coral; mothers, Clara of Winfield; two grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with First Baptist Church and
Kansas State University Center for Basic Cancer Research.
Miles-Wheeler Memorial Chapel, Winfield, is in charge of arrangements.
