Edith Johnson
Edith Johnson, 85, Elkhart, died Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.
She was the mother of Alice Stall of Augusta.
Funeral services were today at the Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart, the Rev. Frank Miller officiating.
Burial will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Severy South Lawn Cemetery, Severy.
Johnson was born Aug. 25, 1906, at Findlay, Ohio. She lived in Elkhart for the past year, moving from Augusta.
On Feb. 14, 1924, she married Clinton Johnson. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1966.
Other survivors include two sons, Clifford M. of Ponca City, Okla., Boyd E. of Rolla;
four brothers, Robert Stall of Bartlesville, Okla., George Stall of Warm, Okla., Carl Stall of Catoosa, Okla.,
Raymond Stall of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters, Alma Wallace of Gretna, La., Mable McPherson of Ponca City,
Clara Brown of Bartlesville; six grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta Church of the Nazarene.
Harrell Funeral Home, Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.

Harvey Brown
Harvey Almond Brown, 87, Prescott, Ariz., died Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Arizona Pioneer Home, Prescott.
He was the brother of Alma Winzer of Augusta.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at the Arizona Pioneer Home. Mass was held today.
Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery in Prescott.
Brown was born Jan. 31, 1904, to Jehu & LuSadie Chance Brown.
He grew up and lived in the Augusta area until the early 1930s and had lived in Gela Bend, Ariz.
Hampton Funeral Home, Pre-scott, is in charge of arrangements.
Bill Jenkins
Bill Jenkins, 66, Oklahoma City, Okla, died Oct. 12 at his home.
Services were Oct. 17 and internment was in Kolb Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
Jenkins was bom June 11, 1925, in Coldwater to Alice (DuBois) and Ivy Allen Jenkins.
He was a painter and paper hanger before and after serving with the military during World War II.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Erma (Black) Jenkins, his parents and a sister, Helen Jenkins.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Crowell and Sherrie Johnson;
two grandsons, Brian Erowell and Bobby McAlister; one granddaughter, Teresa McAlister;
and a great-grandson, Jereme Farris.

Charles Braden
Charles Franklin Braden, 82, Augusta, died Thursday, Oct. 31, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Wichita.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta,
the Rev. Michael Omundson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Braden was born Feb. 28, 1909, in Lawrenceville, III., to Mary Ellen & William Francis Braden.
On Dec. 24, 1932, he married Mildred L. Storrer in Emporia. She preceded him in death Oct 12, 1988.
Braden had been an oil producer and was a member of Grid-ley 314, A.F. & A.M., Masons Blue Lodge.
He moved to Augusta in 1961 from El Dorado.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Burden; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
