Bill Jenkins

Bill Jenkins, 66, Oklahoma City, Okla, died Oct. 12 at his home. He was the brother of Maxine McKay of Augusta.
Services were Oct. 17 and internment was in Kolb Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
Jenkins was born June 11, 1925, in Coldwater to Alice (DuBois) and Ivy Allen Jenkins.
He was a painter and paper hanger before and after serving with the military during World War II.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Erma (Black) Jenkins, his parents and a sister, Helen Jenkins.
Other survivors include three sisters, Shirley Stout and Novella Thompson of Hutchinson,
Mildred Buckles of Kiowa; two daughters, Sheila Crowell of Oklahoma City, Okla., and
Sherrie Johnson of Tennessee; two grandsons, Brian Crowell and Bobby McAlister;
one granddaughter, Teresa McAlister; and a great-grandson, Jereme Farris.

Lloyd Bonham Sr.

Lloyd A. Bonham Sr., 64, Andover, died Tuesday, Nov. 5. He was the father of Lloyd A. Jr. of Augusta.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Other survivors include his wife, Carol; sons, Michael R. of Phoenix, Ariz., Harold D. of Germany,
Donald K. of Wichita; a daughter, Rhonda A. Platt of Williston, Fla.; a sister, Norma J. Miller of Lancaster, Pa.;
13 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.

Bessie Lord

Bessie B. Lord, 84, Howard, died Monday, Nov. 4. She was the mother of Bill Lord of Augusta.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard.
Other survivors include a son, Bob of Wichita; a brother, Jack VanBuskirk of Howard;
sisters, Alice King of Calvert City, Ky., Ruth Snook of El Dorado, Vera Ferry, Eunice Townsley,
Hazel Lanning, all of Howard; five grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.

Aubrey Keely

Aubrey Austin Keely, 78, Towanda, died Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Augusta Medical Complex Inc.
He was the father of Gary M. Keely and stepfather of Sharon Hunter, both of Augusta.
Funeral services were today at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, the Rev. Grant Goodvin officiating.
Burial will be in Towanda Cemetery.
Keely was born June 19, 1913, in Douglass to Clara Belle (Gazaway) and Elmer Frank Keely.
On Dec. 17, 1960, he married Kathryn Delores Edwards in Weatherford, Texas.
He was a custom harvester.
Keely was a member of the Church of Christ, the Augusta Veterans of Foreign Wars,
Post 2485, holding the titles of quartermaster, service commander and commander.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; a son, Richard D. of Kalamazoo, Mich.; stepsons, Darril Pratt of El Dorado,
Gary Pratt of Minnesota, Rodney Pratt of Manahattan; a daughter, Beverly Anderson of Gowrie, Iowa;
stepdaughter, Rhonda Barley of Towanda; a brother, Walter of Columbus;
sisters, Gladiola Mullins of Wichita, Maude Hoy of Pittsburg; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille M. Keely in 1959.
There were two children from this marriage, Gary M. and Beverly Anderson.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Herb & Victor; and two sisters, Grace Martin and Juanita Nutter.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc.

Elsie McGee

Elsie M. McGee, 96, Augusta, died Monday, Nov. 11, in Augusta.
Funeral services are 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, Wichita.
Burial will be in Resthaven Mortuary Chapel.
McGee was born Sept. 3, 1895, in Blackwell, Okla., to Sarah Jane Standley-Banta and Harvey Owen Banta.
Survivors include a son, Charles O. Stueven of Augusta; a daughter, Virginia McNiff of Florrisant, Mo.;
seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Broadway Christian Church.
