Martha McMaster

Martha McMaster, 85, died Nov. 17 in Blacksburg, Va. She was the sister of Douglass resident Julia Taylor.
Services have already been held.
McMaster was the daughter of John M. McMaster and Josephine Bums McMaster.
She was a member of the Prebyterian Church, Trillium Garden Club, Writers Workshop and was a past president of Bright Brick Co. of Monaca, Pa. She was a graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. John F. Eckel of Blacksburg; two sons, John W. Eckel of Charlotte, N.C., Karl M. Eckel of Lancaster, Pa.; five grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.
She and her husband have visited in Douglass several times with her sister. Her husband attended Douglass schools.

Glenn Knox

Glenn L. Knox, 73, Augusta, died Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Wichita.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Knox was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Detroit, Kan., to Florence Anna (Line) and Harry M. Knox.
On Dec. 19, 1941, he married Rochelle Swader in Detroit, Kan.
Knox was a member of the United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Masons, Blue Lodge of Enterprise and the Elks of Augusta.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Knox was the owner of the Heating & Cooling Company.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shirley Stuevens of Augusta; sisters, Marion Mula-nax of Abilene, Leona Loy of Topeka; two grandchildren, Michael & Scott Stuevens.

Allison Teter

Allison Marion Teter, 77, rural Augusta, died today in Augusta.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
Teter was born March 30, 1914, in Ralston, Okla., to Olive Ann (Spear) and Charlie Teter.
Teter had been a welder.
Survivors include his wife, Let Let Teter; sons, John and Joe Teter of Augusta, Paul Teter of Indiana; daughters, Allison J. Conner of Augusta, Pat Beal of Elm Springs, Ark.; sisters, Emma of Cleveland, Okla., Goldie Bunch of Cleveland, Okla.; two grandchildren.

Nephew dies

Troy Word, 23, Oklahoma City, Okla., nephew of Mary Nusz of Augusta, died of injuries suffered in a traffic accident early Sunday morning.
His funeral service is scheduled for 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at a Christian Church in Oklahoma City.

Allison Teter

Allison Marion Teter, 77, rural Augusta, died Monday, Dec. 16, in Augusta.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Funerai Home, Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Teter had been a welder.

A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
