Ted Poindexter
Ted J. Poindexter, 48, Akron, Colo., died Monday. He has several local relatives.
Services are pending, and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Patricia Stafford
Patricia A. Stafford, 51, Augusta, died Sunday, Dec. 15, at HCA Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta,
with the Rev. Robert Box officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Stafford was born July 13, 1940, in Downey, Calif., to Rachel Mae (Alford) and Robert W. Childers.
On Oct. 15, 1960, she married Ronney Stafford in Ponca City, Okla.
She had been a sheet metal worker at Beech Aircraft.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Karen Goetzinger of Wichita, Rebecca Ray of Butler, Pa.;
a brother, Leonard Childers of Charlottesville, S.C.; a sister, Precilia Dodd of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Cancer Society.
Cora Need
Cora A. Need, 81, Atlanta, died Friday, Dec. 13, at the Resthaven Nursing Home, Winfield.
She was the mother of Nola White of Douglass.
Funeral services were today at the Atlanta Christian Church with internment in the Atlanta Cemetery.
Need was born Dec. 28, 1929, in East Lynne, Mo., to Oscer & Nattie (Daley) Bloom.
On May 17, 1928, she married Charles Need in El Dorado. He preceded her in death May 8, 1976.
Need was a homemaker and had been a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.
She lived all of her adult life in Atlanta before moving to Canterbury Heights, Winfield, in 1984.
Survivors include another daughter, Alice Williams of Winfield;
a sister, Marie Wohlford of Severy; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren,
four step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughtei.
A memorial has been established with the Resthaven Nursing Home.
Miles Wheeler Chapel, Winfield, is in charge of arrangements.

Leona Margaretha Jerome, 80, Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Walnut Valley Manor, Augusta.
Her funeral service was today, Dec. 19, at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel here with
Rev. Robert Box of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Jerome was born April 2, 1911 in Bums to Nellie Mae (Rand) and Charles R.G. Church.
She was a retired machine shop inspector.
Survivors include a son, Charles Burrell of Grove, Okla.; a sister, Wilma White of Wichita.

Allena Crawford
Allena F. Crawford, 97, Parsons, died Tuesday, Dec. 17. She was a former Augusta resident.
Her funeral service was Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Survivors include nieces, Louise Walker, Lucille Quarles, both of Parsons.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church.
Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
Curtis Mishler
Curtis Ray Mishler, 33, Wichita, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, and 2 p.m.
Saturday in the Overbrook Cemetery, Overbrook, Okla.
Mishler was born Nov. 30, 1958, in Coffeyville to La Vera (Cobbs) and Francis Mishler.
He was an industrial painter. Survivors include his wife,
Susan (Argo) Mishler; a son, Preston Mishler, a daughter, Tiffany Mishler,
a step-daughter, Natalie Brook Argo; sisters, Lorraine Mill of Wichita, Andrea Nichols of Douglass,
Anna Corbin of Augusta; father, Francis Mishler of Cherryville; mother, La Vera Wright of Hardy, Aik.;
grandmother, Sadie Cobbs of Cherryville.
