Louise Bower

Louise Bower, 56, Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at home.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Bower was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Fairview, Okla., to Leah (Unruh) and Albert Ratzlaff.
On Oct. 26,1989, she married Jim Bower in Augusta. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Russell Moore of Augusta;
daughters, Karen Bartels of Augusta and Cynda Paul of Augusta;
stepdaughter, Joyce Provencher of Wichita; brothers, Willis Ratzlaff of Marysville, Pa., Wesley Ratzlaff of Arizona;
sisters, Norma Adder of La Junta, Colo., Wilma Thomson of Ben-tonville, Ark.;
six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, is in charge of arrangements.

Goldie Baum

Goldie Mae Baum, 94, Augusta, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, at the Augusta Medical Complex Inc.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery, Larry Fry of the
Western Hills Christian Church, Lawton, Okla., officiating.
Baum was born Dec. 6, 1897, in East St. Louis, 111., to Emma (Hadley) and Warren Russell.
On March 10, 1914, she married Orbra Baum in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1950.
Survivors include a son, Wendell of Kansas City, Mo.;
daughters, Dorothy Fry of Augusta, Evelyn Corman of Dillon, Mont.,
Retha Dyer of Wichita, Ruth Knollenberg of White Settlement, Texas, Mildred Glass of Wichita;
17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Ruby Cowart and Florence Griggs.
Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, is in charge of arrangements.

Valera Burri

Valera Marguerite Burri, 96, Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at the Augusta Medical Complex Inc.
There will be no funeral service. She will be buried in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, N. Y.
Burri was born April 4, 1895, in Carwyle, Okla., to Ida Mae (Couch) and Harrison Long Maris.
In 1922, she married Joseph John Burri in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1955.
Survivors include a son, James O. Burri, 18 Rustic Place, Staten Island, N.Y.;
sisters, Arlyn Alexander of Abingdon, Pa., Velma Thomason of Wichita; three grandchildren.
