Laura Batdorf

Laura Rachel Batdorf, 87, Concordia, died Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia.
She was the mother of Fred Batdorf of Augusta.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta,
the Rev. Harold Kieler officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta
Batdorf was born March 20, 1904, in Jerusalem, Ohio, to Mary (Farmer) and Elmer Newton Clayton.
On March 23, 1922, she married Doan Frank Batdorf of Concordia in Towanda.
Batdorf was a retired Beech Aircraft Corp. electrician.
Other survivors include her husband, Doan Frank; a daughter, Mary Lois LeSuer of Overland Park;
four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Harold Humbert

Farmer Harold Humbert, 59, Argonia, died Saturday, Dec. 21. He was the father of Joy Dyck of Augusta.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Argonia Methodist Church.
Other survivors include his wife, Wanda Lou; a son, Wendell of Argonia;
daughter, Kandy Clark of Danville; four grandchildren.
Memorials have been estabished wth the Argonia Emergency Medical Service and the Argonia Frontier Association.
The Argonia Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mary McFaddin

Mary L. McFaddin, 76, rural Augusta, died today at St. Joseph Medical Center, Wichita.
A funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta,
the Father James Billinger officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
McFaddin was born Aug. 18, 1915, in Horace to Lucy (Welsh) and Thomas Kelly.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; sons, Gerald J. & Robert E. of Hardin, Texas;
daughters, Irene Hamrick and Janet Vaughn of Augusta; brother, Joseph Kelly of Shingle Springs, Calif.;
sisters, Patricia Kittredge of Broomfield, Calif., Agnes Hopp and Sister Pauletta Kelly of Grand Island, Neb.,
Kathleen Field of Fall Church, Va.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Thomas & Edward; and a grandson, Shawn McFaddin.
Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, is in charge of arrangements.
