Helen L. Larson
Former Augusta resident Helen L. Larson, 88, Wichita, died Monday, Feb. 26, 1996.
Her funeral service was today at the Downing & Lahey Mortuary in Wichita.
Larson was born June 14, 1907 in Augusta, to Roy A. and Sarah (McKittrick) Haines.
Her father was a former founder of Prairie State Bank, a Federal Reserve Board member,
and served two terms as the state bank commissioner.
She married Raymond Leslie Larson on June 23, 1954, he survives.
Also surviving are her sisters, Margaret Holiday of Emporia, Mary Ann Kirk of Hutchinson,
Toddy Barteldes of Lawrence; two nephews; three nieces.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta Historical Society.
Earl A. Willson
Funeral services are pending for Earl A. Willson, 75, Augusta, who died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996.
Willson was born Feb. 10, 1921.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; and a daughter, Kandis Shumaker, both of Augusta.
Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
David Langham
David Dean Langham, 31, Augusta, died Sunday morning, June 2, 1996, in a one-car accident in Butler County.
His service will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, June 4, Hillside Funeral Home East, Wichita.
The Raytheon sheet metal mechanic is survived by his wife, Patty; sons, Scott and Dalton, both at home;
mother, Myla McKnight, sisters, Pam Smith, Teresa Smith, Dana Hynes, all of Rogers, Ark.
Florence L. Price
Former Augusta resident Florence L. Price, 78, Pinellas Park, Fla., died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, after a lengthy illness.
Her funeral service was held at the Gulf Breeze Funeral Chapel in Largo, Fla.
She was buried in Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell, on Feb. 20.
Price moved from Augusta in 1956 and retired from Florida Federal Savings & Loan Association after 20 years.
She is survived by her sons, Larry and Phillip Bainter, of Augusta; daughters, Judith Rippee of Augusta,
Patricia Volonino of Largo, Fla.; three brothers, Abe Dye, Wichita, Bill Dye, Hutchinson, and Max Dye, Salina;
sister, Wilda Myers, Augusta; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Gulf Breeze Cremation and Burial Society, Largo, was in charge of arrangements.

with Rev. Michael Omundson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley.
Willson was born Feb. 10, 1921 in Hartford to Frank and Lola (Lore) Willson.
Willson, who served time in the U.S. Army Air Force, was retired from Boeing Aircraft and was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Schulze); and a daughter, Kandis Shumaker, both of Augusta;
brothers, Ken Willson of Omaha, Vernon Willson of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Opal Spatz of California;
grandchildren, Ashely, Caroline and A.J. Shumaker all of Augusta.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc.
Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
Jessie Sneed
Jessie (Wood) Sneed, 89, Augusta, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel with
Rev. Michael Omundson of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Sneed was born Aug. 20,1906 to Samuel E. and Maggie May (Mackney) Wood.
She married Sherman M. Sneed on 29 June, 1969 in Augusta. He preceded her in death.
Sneed was a member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Rebekahs.
She was a homemaker and worked in the Morgan Drugstore for years.
She is survived by her brother, Roy Wood of Wichita.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church.
Caitlan Wagnon
Caitlan Dawn Wagnon, infant daughter of Darrel Wagnon and Cheryl Page of Augusta, died Tuesday, April 2, 1996.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Elmwood Cemetery with
Rev. Harvey Coberley of Lakecrest Bible Baptist Church officiating.
She was born March 13, 1996 and is also survived by her sister, Mariah Wagnon; half sister Jennifer Wagnon;
grandparents, Bob and Woneta Davis, Jerry and Joyce Wagnon;
great-grandparents, Bill and Sarah Dotson, all of Augusta, Johnnie Mae Spears of Medford, Okla.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
