Frank Linck
Frank Linck, 73, of Augusta
died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1997, at
Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service will be 2p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Dunsford Chapel. Rev. Bill Jeffress of First Church of God will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Frank Linck was born Jan. 20, 1924, to Julius and Minnie (Moore) Linck in Wichita.
He married LaVone Grunwald March 1,1947, in Wichita.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a machinist at Boeing Aircraft before his retirement.
Survivors are wife, LaVone Linck of Augusta; sons, Roy Linck of Augusta and Stephen Linck of Wichita; daughter, Connie Basquez of Augusta; sister, Dorothy McOmber of Everett, Wash.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association. Contributions may be left with Dunsford Funeral Home.
John C. Baum
John Clifford Baum, 77, of Augusta died Monday, Feb. 24, 1997, at his home.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta. Rev. Bill Jeffress of First Church of God will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
John Clifford Baum was born Dec. 9, 1919, to John A. and Iva O. (Reed) Baum in Augusta.
He graduated from Augusta High School and married Delores M. Clark. She preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Southwestern Bell Company for more than 30 years. He was also a referee at Augusta High School basketball games and worked at Ballinger’s Cafeteria where he baked bread.
Survivors are daughters Paulette Johnston and her husband, Doug of Augusta and Jeanette (Jaye) Fitz-Simmons of Leawood; brother, Ray Baum and his wife, Elsa, of Wichita; grandchildren, Jozette Patterson and Tony Johnston of Augusta and Nicole and Kyle Fitz-Simmons of Leawood and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc. Contributions may be left with Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Larry Bingham
Larry Gene Bingham, 53, of Burrton and formerly of Augusta died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1997, in Wichita.
His graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Elmwood Cemetery. Burial
will follow. Rev. Jeff Wisner will officiate.
Larry Gene Bingham was born Oct. 5, 1943, to Walter and Bessie (Madison) Bingham in Halstead.
He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was an ornamental concrete worker for Yoder Ornamental.
Survivors are son, Ronald Bingham of Burrton; daughters, Valarie Bingham of Coosbay, Ore., and Marsi Bingham of Stillwell, Okla.; brothers, Charles Bingham of Placerville, Calif., and Richard Bingham of Burrton; sisters, Ruth Rude of Valley Center, Peggy Ralston, Genny Milner, Katie Graber and Sherry McCandless all of Burrton, Hazel Van Horn of Tulsa, Okla., Marge Keith of Ofchickasha, Okla., Sue Terronez of Hutchinson and Lind Coiner of Central City, Neb., and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lee.
