Dorothy Burress

Dorothy M. (Schneider) Burress, 69, of Augusta died Saturday, Feb. 8, at Augusta Medical Complex Long Term Care.
Her rosary service will be at 7 p.m. tonight at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. James Mainzer officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Dorothy M. Schneider was born Jan. 3, 1928, in Augusta to Andrew P. and Ella (Coday) Schneider.
She married Charles Edwin Burress June 8, 1951, in Augusta. He preceded her in death in 1968.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Survivors are son, Charles P. Burress of Augusta; daughters, Jill Young of Wichita and Melissa Davidson of Augusta; grandchildren, Megan Morgan, Ryan Davidson, Andrew, Ranee and Abbie Burress and Ashton and Amber Young and great-grandson, Cody Morgan.
A memorial has been established with the St. James Catholic Church building fund. Contributions may be sent to the funeral home. /0-f

Vickie Burris

Vickie O. Burris, 41, of Augusta died Monday, Feb. 3, 1997, in her home.
Her memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta. Rev. Vem Bowers of first United Methodist Church will officiate.
Vickie O. Crowe was born Oct. 5, 1955, to John and Violet Crowe in Wichita.
Survivors are son, Jeremy Burris of Augusta; daughter, Shauna Burris of Augusta; brothers John L. Crowe of Derby and Larry Crowe of Wichita and her parents.
A memorial has been established with Craig Hospital in Inglewood, Colo. Contributions may be left with the funeral home.
The Augusta High School Class of 1973 has established a memorial fund in memory of Vickie (crowe) Burris. Those wishing to contribute should mail their contributions to: Class of 1973, c/o Leah January, 1139 Henry, Augusta, KS. 67010.

Pearl L. Williams

Pearl L. Williams, 94, Augusta, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997 at Augusta Medical Complex Long Term Care facility.
Her funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven. Rev. Curtis Fike of Oxford Baptist Church will officiate.
She was born Aug. 19,1902 in Honeywell as the daughter of Frank and Jenny Langdale.
Survivors include nephew Edward McClarnon of Bartlesville, OK; nieces Dixie Waltrip of Wellington, Betty Thompson of Winfield, Betty Gile of Wichita.
Memorials to the Augusta Medical Complex resident activity fund have been suggested.
The Miles Funeral Service of Winfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mark H. Copp

Mark H. Copp, 72, of Augusts died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, a Via Christi-St. Francis Hospita in Wichita.
His funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at First Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Wedan officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mark H. Copp was born March 24, 1924, in Springdale, Ark., to John L. and Nellie (Condon) Copp.
He married Delma Lee Nov. 18, 1947, in Augusta. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a service manager at Parks Motor Company before his retirement. He was also a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors are wife, Delma Copp of Augusta; daughter, Elaine Cyphers of Augusta; sister, Betty Graham of Halstead and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Guenthner, in 1975.
A memorial has been established with First Southern Baptist Church. Contributions may be sent to Dunsford Funeral Home.
