M. Auernheimer
Margaret Mae Auernheimer, 90, of Augusta died Thursday, Feb. 20, at Walnut Valley Manor.
Her family will receive visitors from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at United Methodist Church. Pastor Keith Dubeck will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Margaret Mae Kaiser was born May 16, 1906, in Ruelton to Andrew and Annie (Lennert) Kaiser.
She married Edward Henry Auernheimer Feb. 28, 1928, in Goodland. He preceded her in death March 13, 1972.
She was a homemaker and worked for the Dunsford family and at Dunsford Funeral Home for several years. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church where she kept the Cradle Roll Sunday school class for more than 35 years.
Survivors are sons, Russell Auernheimer of Long Beach, Calif., Wilbur Auemheirher of Kansas City, Mo. and Richard Auernheimer of Cassville, Mo.; daughters Alice Simon of Augusta and Aleda McCullah of Las Vegas, Nev.;
sisters Minnie Bonderud of Blomington, Minn, and Lydia Scott of Goodland; grandchildren, Sherill Simon and Elaine Simon both of Wichita, robert Simon of Augusta, Marjorie McClelland of Mulvane, Steven Simon of Wilmington, Del., Mark Auernheimer of Ashland, Va., David Auernheimer of Cassville, Mo., William McCullah of Las Vegas, Nev. and Allen Auernheimer of Doublin, Calif., and great-grandchildren, Andrew Auernheimer, Chelsa
Auernheimer, Anthony Auernheimer, Marc, Chelsa and Anthony Simon and Alicia and Simon McClellan.
Memorials have been established with Augusta United Methodist Church building fund and Walnut Valley Manor building fund. Contributions may be left with Dunsford Funeral Home.

Ruth Dennett
Former Augustan Ruth Dennett, 81, of El Dorado, died Sunday, Feb. 16,1997.
Her funeral service was today at Dunsford Chapel. Rev. Chuck Terrill of Haverhill Christian Church officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Ruth Idelle Johnson was born March 18, 1915, to James A. and Emma (Lichlyter) Johnson in Douglass.
She married Noel La Von Dennet July 23, 1933, in El Dorado. He preceded her in death Nov. 1, 1992.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors are son, Charles Dennett of Russell; daughters, Janice Bell of Peck, Marjorie Crees of Eureka, Adenia Erickson of Catousa, Okla, and Debra Johnson of San Jose, Calif; sister, Bernice McDonald of Apple Valley, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with El Dorado Senior Citizens Center. Contributions may be sent to Dunsford Funeral Home.
